Hi Henry, much thanks for all those Heresy Videos!! I picked for myself your Emperor's Children Tutorial and I think they came out great. Like the 500P Ulthwé I painted. Is there a way I could show you them for your critique? And I hope Word Bearers are coming next. I don't have oils for washing. Is there a method to get a similar pin wash effect with acrylic washes?? Otherwise, this is simply a fantastic piece of advice.

Does presgading or undershading the model before using base and layering paints matter? Is it something I should do more even when not using contrast paints?

If you use translucent layers of paint over the top then it can be a great help.

Hey Henry, Do you put your Scale 75 metallics on your wet palette? I find mine lose their luster/shine. Is that the case for you?

If you're shaking the paint thoroughly, I'm guessing the metallics have separated too much, this would mean your palette is over saturating the paint.

Great vid! Don't know if you've answered this elsewhere, but what conventional paint brushes do you use? (For the chip highlighting, for example) I always struggle to get a fine point on mine!

I'd suggest finding a rattle can green that you like. Use that for the armour colour and then just follow all the other steps. It will still look great, just not exactly the same as this.

That’s a shame. Don’t be so quick to assume it’s us not caring though. We get tagged in a lot of things where people just spam tag a bunch of big accounts, so occasionally a genuine tag gets lost. What’s your account, we’ll take a look!
