I would say yes just to be safe because the textual of a sock-liner is different than jeans and other material because a sock liner has small cushion inside. And also different fabric medium paints are thinner and thicker than others.

How to properly prep the shoe & how many layers to apply

I get this question a lot lol but no I didn’t use dye so it’s not gonna transfer that’s why I used paints and fabric softer so when the paint dry it still keeps the sock linnet soft and don’t bleed on socks. Now if you don’t let it dry fully then yes the paint is still gonna be wet and get on your socks so make sure it’s fully dry
