My first attempt and painting many years ago was with watercolor, but I found it difficult to control the water and paint. I moved on to other mediums, but recently decided to do watercolor painting again. I found your videos about 3 weeks ago and I love the simple way you explain how to paint flowers, keeping control of the paint and water. Not too tight and not so loose that it becomes abstract painting. Thank you so much for being a great teacher.
This tutorial is really well-explained. I love the resulting flowers and leaves so much I just had to subscribe. I'm so happy to have discovered your channel. Thank you so much for sharing.
Emma, your hair looks great! I love this video! These would be great to do for Thinking of You cards to send right now, we're living in such a tough time where people are so nervous and scared. Stay safe folks.
Hi love watching your videos. Before i started however, i had picked with just a random brush n water paint set and i believed the paper i had at home would work.... i was so wrong... Paper almost cracked and the paint and brushes are soso But im glad i started. Will go shopping for better products. Thanks for the inspiration 🙏
Last, but not leaf! That was good. I'm going to do this one after lunch. I've been doing a lot of your lessons these past few weeks. I have a desire to fill my sketch book with bright colors. It really brightens things up these days.
Hi Emma! 10 gold stars for this COLORFUL lesson. Just rewatched your leaves video & have to know HOW on earth do you figure out such uncomplicated ways to paint so beautifully & efficiently? So glad I found your original peony video from 2 years ago. I feel quite blessed to learn from the best. Happy Easter! Frances Turano Denver, CO USA
This is a fabulous video!!! Love how you explain each step. Oh, and your hair looks really pretty too. I'll be working on these flowers and leaves the next day or two.
Hi Emma. Really learning from your work. I wondered about your thoughts about the SNAP brushes for absolute beginners like me. I don't want to break the bank on brushes, but I have found poor quality (kinda limp, perhaps??) on less expensive brushes. I saw the SNAP brushes, and know that Princeton is reputable and the prices were affordable. So I almost bought them but hesitated because of my poor decisions on watercolor brushes in the past. How do the SNAP brushes perform? Do they really have a good snap? Thanks for your help!
This demo inspires me, I'm going to try painting Adenium obesum (also commonly called desert rose or impala lily) flowers--the multi-tier blooms of hybrids frequently look like roses but they come in colors and combos that are impossible for roses, like black, true deep purples, red & black, or red with deep blue edges.
hola, son fantasticos tus videos. algunas veces refleja la luz en la acuarela y no se puede ver bien. te escribo desde Pamplona España. muchas gracias por tu trabajo.

Emma, I found your videos about a week ago and I absolutely love your style and your method of teaching how to paint these beautiful flowers. 😊 I am so excited to keep growing my artistry and you’ve been a big part of my process. Thank you so much for being a watercolor guru for me.
I enjoy all your videos, very much. Thank you for making art so pleasurable and easy for us novices. I have a general question. Do you close your palette or cover it in any way, after the paints dry? Thank you for all you do for us.
Love the bangs! Adorable on you! Thanks for ur videos, u make it look easy, i try and...ahem...yeah not so easy. Im buying the snap brushes from ur link! I use silver brushes, maybe ill do better with snaps?🙏
Thanks for all the videos. I think when you are filming if the water jar is visible, could be helpful because I want to be able to see how much you dip the brush in the water
