I love the magnolia color, that subtle gray. It does make the flower look white. Mine keep coming up too gray. I guess more practice with mixing! Thanks for your sharing this pretty painting!

Susan Anthony add in more water than you think you need! It’ll almost be clear - the paint will dry darker! 💛

@@SnowberryDesignCo Okay, thank you, Erin. I think I did my painting in the dark or I just thought it would dry lighter, not being at all concerned about it, but I do want to get better if I'm going to be playing show and tell on Instagram! LOL!

Great video ! How do you do have balance and not smudge the paint with your arm at the same time ? Can you maybe show a different angle sometime ?

Most of the time I just wait for the paint to be dry before painting over the top. Another way is to work top to bottom and left to right (if you're right handed!). One more way to balance is make sure you have a finger or your wrist resting on a part of the paper that is dry. I also try to turn the paper if it's a harder-to-reach spot! Hope that helps!

What Kind of blau with orange so you User for gray? Thanks

I’m not 100% sure because it was already mixed before i started painting. You can get Grey with any blue and orange. Just keep adding one or the other intro the mix until you’re happy with the result. Don’t forget to add lots of water to soften the color!

Absolutely beautiful... It's sickening how you can produce such dainty perfection with just a few strokes of your brush!! Could you tell me what size brush you are using (is it a mop?)? As it seems the perfect size for life-like scale. (I'm more a b/w pencil artist and finding watercolours A LOT more difficult than I thought I would :/

Thank you for your sweet words! I have been watercolor painting for so long that i find sketching difficult sometimes! We all have our strengths 💛 keep practicing, it’ll become more natural before you know it! I believe in using a size 14 round brush in this video - good luck and happy painting!
