Outstanding tutorial Pamela! These finished roses look more natural and not as much like one stroke roses.

I've watched perhaps 27 rose tutorials as a very very novice artist but this tutorial is by far the best one! and you have a lovely calming voice !!! i especially appreciated the stroke technique explained in the beginning. true respect to you

That is a very beautiful Trio of Yellow Roses; I'm still trying to learn and after a very long time, I finally made a rose. You're so talented. Thank you for teaching this; you're very clear on your instructions. This helps me so much. Thank you. I'm so happy I found you on here because I really love the honesty and in depth examples you teach. I really wish there was an plastic overlay of each rose petal placement that would help me allot. I think my strokes need work but you sure give me hope thanks. keep teaching us . Janie

Thank you, I try to break it down to make it easier and the nice thing is as you paint them over and over you develop your own style or one you like better than mine.
