Hey! In this video I'm gonna share with you how to paint a character from Values (Grayscale) to Colour. This is one of many workflows that I use and it is going to help you to paint in a completely different way, you will be able to paint more 3D looking illustrations super fast, enjoy!

Dude, I'm using digital art to help me get through homelessness and keep my sanity (mostly!) and the style of this illustration is exactly what I'm failing at - checked your course and even with the huge discounts it's just unattainable - but believe me when I say that your RU-vid videos have given me so much already and I'd still be at stickman levels without them so thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥

i tried using this method and the colors just did NOT line up the same way it did with yours. why is that? i tried adding color on top of my greyscale rendering and the colors with the color layer style were super washed out and light even though i was using a super saturated blue

How did you select the layers you didnt want to be coloured into a layer mask ? Is that a photoshop thing cause i cant seem to do that on clip studio or procreate !
