*Disclaimer This tutorial was made by a professional who has never painted their nails until the day of filming this. If you're male, DO TRY THIS AT HOME.
I've never made such a video and it's very different to what I normally make. It's entertaining (for me it was) and answers some interesting questions for you. I've never painted my nails and it was quite relaxing. The art of make up.

I just started to paint my nails and love it!!!!! Is there a way to get it right? Any tricks or products that help? I'm still not a 100% happy with the results. I could afford going to a nail salon but I hate the process of getting appointment, wait time, etc I want to learn to do it myself!

I’m a straight, married dude and I love painting my nails. Looks bad ass to me. I think a lot of guys like it but aren’t willing to admit it. I think a lot of guys are willing to do a lot of stuff that they just won’t admit.

I painted my nails for the first time as part of my Halloween costume, my costume was a giant Uno Wild card so I did the 4 Uno colors on my fingers with black on the thumbs, I got so many compliments it was awesome! This week I found a really pretty shade of orange, it got kinda messy when I was putting it on but I finally got it nice and smooth and I've gotten a few more compliments already. I hope I can inspire other guys to paint their nails because it's so fun and makes me feel less ugly lol

🧡"I am an expert....in simple math" (Monk, 2020)♥ I suck at painting my nails; I find it not only more affordable after removal and reapplication with so many screw-ups to go to an expert. You are doomed if you have not been practicing since you were three years old. to be fair, I also suck at painting trim - also something I hire an expert for, and I usually change the colours in my living areas, likely, as much as some folks change their nail colour! I LOVE that I now feel comfortable wearing nail colour - there is a freedom & pride I did not expect from participating in this practice.

Yes, nail polish for men is definitely a thing. Bravo. I do have to say that going to a nail salon is worth it. I got a wonderful manicure and pedicure at my local salon and I'm very happy with it. I was going to go with black polish and ended up with a dark brown that looks really cool.

@@agoogleuser4095 I started painting my nails last month and started with black. I was a bit insecure about it so i picked a more masculine (ugh i hate saying that) color to get used to it. Im gonna start branching out to different colors soon. If you pick a bold dark color like black just be aware that flooding your cuticles and making the odd mistake is alot more noticeable, but practice makes perfect. I would recommend getting an angled eyeliner brush to help with clean up afterwards, it really helps making your finished product look good.

(The costume is supposed to make me look like a giant Uno "wild card" so we're gonna do my nails in the 4 Uno colors, red blue yellow and green) Also one of them told me the dollar store is a good place to get cheap nail polish if you get a brand called "LA Colors" so I'm gonna look for that in the future.

Whatever your religion or beliefs, I don't think it says anywhere that painting your nails is a sin/wrong. As for your parents, it's an expression of individuality. It can be quite tough to be bold but your parents should be the first people in the world to support anything you choose to do 🙏😁💛

2 top coats?? I just do 1 base, 2 coats of color, and 1 top coat. It takes less than an hour. Maybe an hour if I'm pushing back cuticles and removing hang nails and stuff. Then I might add another layer of top coat a few days later.

I just started painting my nails. There is a group of men who paint one nail a different color. It symbolizes that 1/5 children are sexually assaulted. It’s supposed to be a sign that you are here to help them fight that evil. And that they know they can talk to you without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. It was really hard for me to talk about being raped as a child I think painting your nails is a very good way to express yourself in way that isn’t negative

I'm thinking in the last few days of school to go with my nails black and white, cuz its a tradition to wear black and white, plus I like painting then. I had them black for a while, then my dad forced me to get then off, bat eh.

Hey, so currently I only have my thumbs painted because I quite like it rather than a whole set. Maybe start small or if you love the whole set painted, do it. I know it's hard with parents around, just do what would make you feel good. Sometimes ignoring parents can help :) good luck! 😎 You've got this!
