Genius, I've had my new phone for a couple of months and couldn't get it to connect. After your video I am fully up and running. Code works for UK models (e.g. 220 Sport CLK)

If you're watching this, be aware that this is a newer generation of the Mercedes Bluetooth hockey puck, post 2008. At least in the US Mercedes was using an older version of this puck in its e-class - Not surprisingly this more than 10-year-old bluetooth device does not always play nicely with modern phones. If you get your car's Bluetooth system to the point where your phone is asking for a pairing code, the code is MBUSA (62872). Again, This is based on my experience with a 2008 Mercedes E350.

Thank you! I didn't have the same looking devise in center console (2009 CLK550) but there was something that had a little button (Mercedes star emblem) held it down, blue lights flashed, entered pairing code in my phone ...worked great 👍

Great video and it's easy to understand. I have a 2007 CL550 and my phone was working but now although it's still connected, I get no sound from phone thorough speakers. Mic is on mute is off phone rings radio stops but no sound of the ring or conversation through speakers... any advice would be appreciated!

Is there to turn that puck off ? It seems Like it's always on and never turn off unless it does turn off after 15 or 20 min ? After I turn and close car off ?

I have a few questions 1. Does the ignition have to be on while you're pairing 2. Can I listen to my music from my through this Bluetooth device? 3. Do I have to set the radio to "phone" while I'm pairing? The reason that I asked if the ignition have to be on is I'm not getting the blue light to come on on the Bluetooth device. Good video but you left out a few details.
