@@stevehernandez2460 yeah but do you also get notifications in this case? Cause pairing it is not the problem. Also, once paired, you can even take calls from the iPhone. But still no notifications from messages, emails or other apps. The problem is that the iOS app doesn't support it, so you can't do any configuration.
He didn’t waste your time. The processes are the same on the other models of Galaxy Watches. Besides he helped us to know that Galaxy Watch 4 is not compatible with an iPhone. I have been watching videos to know that.. He answered to my questions that was in my mind
Thanks! I have a galaxy active 1 watch and it paired perfectly fine on my iphone 13 pro. It was actually easier to sync up than it was on my old pixel 4 lol
I’m so upset rn I prefer the galaxy watch design over the Apple Watch designs. Ugh If I would have known the 4 is not compatible,I would have just waited for the s23. Deal breaker for me.
GOT IT TO WORK: Just pulled out my Galaxy S2, after years in the cabinet, downloaded Samsung Watch app from App store - but it would not pair to my 13-Pro; then I went thru the WATCH menu, turned on WiFi (enter password for router) - continued to "update software" (on WATCH). This took time, it downloads, then finalizes, then installs - once installed, the new menu shows "settings" -> scroll to bottom of list to "connect to new phone"(or similar words) and activate THAT - THEN IT WORKED! Before the WATCH "software update", "settings" scroll to end of list DID NOT SHOW "connect to new phone" - so if you are struggling to get any of the older Samsung S gear watches to pair with an iphone - update the WATCH software via wifi. Apparently iphones do NOT SUPPORT Gear 4 & 5 - but they DO support the original thru S3 (but if the watch has already been connected to a different phone, you may have to dis-connect that other phone before you can connect to a new one). Hope this helps some of you.
I've been tried since I've bought, through the samsung software I didn't conect, but I managed this situation directly bluetooth...like this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XGNew6ay5nU.html, incoming calls only...no notifications for all apps
I just watched a video of a guy doing the complete setup on a 4. How did his pair this doesn’t. He even explained that Apple Watches are expensive so even though all the things may not work much still does. Juss sayin
@@marinahovhannisyan550 I looked up pairing a Galaxy 4 watch to IPhone. It was an Indian guy and he pairs the watch but the watch he pairs up is a Galaxy 3. The name of the video is miss leading because it says “How to pair a G4” but his watch isn’t a 4. Hopefully his video has been taken down. I bought a G4 classic because of his video. It would never pair with my phone I spent hours trying to cheat to no avail. A G3 will pair a G4 absolutely will not.
@@abdulali469 Bro u either exchange it with an apple watch (i hope i could) or connect it with any other galaxy in order to open it and then have the watch on airplane mode forever (most features will be unavailable) :(
Can it still work as a normal watch just to tell us the time n date (without pairing)? I just booked the Samsung Galaxy watch 4 and seeing this video n reading the comments make me feel sad 😞
@@muhammadsufianbinshuhaimi5255 u can connect it to someone else’s samsung and once it activated you can turn of the bluetoooth and thus itll just tell u the time and date
lol, show me at the end whether your watch and iPhone are connected, because finding out is one thing, but connecting it is another. because you can't connect your iPhone to GW 4
Hey just have a question. I have a Gear S2 and a IPhone 8+ and I’ve been able to connect to my watch once but it froze at the terms of conditions and has a extra “LE” at the end of the watch name for some reason and now will not connect, any help on this?
