No, you see the module is a second option to connect wired headphones to your detector or let’s say the battery in the headphones are dead, you can then add the wire they give you and connect your wireless headphones and make them wired headphones connected to the module. So your options are 1. connect the wireless directly. 2 use any wired headphones plugged into the module, then the module connects to the machine wirelessly.. or three use the wireless headphones with the wire and plug one side into the headphones and the other end into the module.. hope this makes sense ☺️

@@RelicDirtyhands yeah I followed the video as instructed. I cracked it in the end after asking a friend with a Nox. He told me this video is wrong, the wireless module isn't needed at all. He was right too, I simply turned the headphones on and pressed the bluetooth button and job done!

Gavin Kalaher I show both ways, first I show how to connect the module.. then I showed how to pair the headphones, that’s unfortunate he would say that. This was step by step what the manual shows. In this video I did not say to pair the headphones to the module, nor did I say you had to use it. You can use one or the other.

Dan let’s say your wireless headphone battery dies on the field, you can plug your headphones to the module with the cable provided. This will allow you to continue detecting and still not be connected directly to the detector.. some people prefer earbuds.. they can plug it into the module and again they are free from the detector.. it gives you options, hope this helps. It’s a turn on and go detector but once all the settings are fully understood it makes it so easy to tweak and suit your sites or personal preference. It’s been three years using it and love it 😊

No, I don’t think it’s broken.. it happens when I connect in a rush from time to time. I would turn the detector and head phones off, turn on the detector and wait a few seconds, make sure the wireless icon is flashing. If not press the wireless button on the side, then press your power on your headphones and hold until you hear a second beep. It can take more than 5 seconds to pair and connect the first time.

@@RelicDirtyhands Thank you for kind reply. Yes, it wasn't broken. My room has lots of bluetooth device. So it must connected with different machine. I tried outside, and it work straight away :)

@@johnnieinadelaide ha ha! It must be it, I use mine for my detector, video editing on my computer and it’ even connects to on my ipad to listen to music.. so it’s paired with multiple devices. The headphones can connect to 2 different devices at a time.. awesome headphones! Mine are three years old and still going strong ☺️

I wouldn’t recommend it, even if you choose a high latency pair, I’ve heard many complain of a lag.

Conect your wireless headphones directly to the metal detector. If you use wired headphones then you can use the module. You have different options to connect.

Tony Kaiser no you don’t need the module to pair up Bluetooth headphones. The module is to connect wired headphones. 👍 Laurie

Tony Kaiser I’ve been told that plugging the wireless headphones to the Module gave a better result than wireless alone.. others say plugging it in direct to the machine has no delay.. I use the wireless and don’t really notice any delay but.. I’m going to try it and see if I notice a difference next time I get out.

@@RelicDirtyhands do you know of any after market adaptors for the 600. I was under the impression the 600 didn't have Bluetooth, but now I am finding it does. I'm sondam confused and just want wireless headphones lol

@@skram841 i would recommend the ML80 wireless headphones from minelab. They are low latency therefore they don’t cause a lag. I’ve seen many spend a little less for wireless headphone but were disappointed. I have seen some claims that other wireless headphones worked but to be honest clueless what brands they are.
