Missing critical information! Don't assume viewers have same knowledge as you. Typical technical production shortcoming! Leave out one little step/piece of information and your viewers will hit a brick wall, making the video worthless to them.

Okay finally got it working omg ! It wouldn't do anything when I'd press the button or search it on the app or BT. Basically, reset the device (remove the battery, press and release the button to make sure you empty the capacitors, then long press the button while inserting the battery back in and keep the button pushed until you hear a chime) Then click the button, if it doesn't work go in your phone settings > connected devices > smartthings > you'll see your linked devices > click on + in the top right hand corner > add > tag and choose the model... damn that was crappy xD

This is only for Samsung smartphones with Android 8.0 or higher and Smart Things app is required for the tag to connect. Samsung smarttag will not work with non Samsung devices.
