Informative video. Just wondering, why do you double some things like the druns? Is it the exact same pattern and you're using a different kit to thicken things out? Also the vocals. Wouldnt it be a bit of a mess with 2 lots of vocals, or are they singing the exact same thing and again, just thicken things out? I also find in my mixes that panning hard left and right (like a rhythm guitar left and the exact same right, just a different guitar. It really gives a thick rich sound and panning hard left and right makes it sound like its comming from the centre. I think people forget that. It tricks your ears, but leaves space for drums and vocals up the centre but gives your mix heaps of space). I also use every bit of space in panning, even if some things are very close (like panning at 38 then 42 for another instrument) because it gives space to a mix. I feel the space is there so it should be used. If you use the LRC, it muddies up a mix as there will ALWAYS be overlap in frequencies you just cant get rid of, so using your panning space fixes that. When done correctly it really sound interesting, spacious and clear.

@@dontrecords Yess. can you please make a video which demonstrates about how to program various types of drum fills in FL studio's FPC. I am struggling to make some of those patterns especially that which includes the rolling of those toms. 🙏 Thanks👍

@@GUPRPEET-Singh Unfortunately I do not use FL Studio but I would tell you to start out using an 1/8 note and step write where you would like the first tom or whatever to hit and then adjust your note to 1/16 or 1/32 to get that roll or triple effect. You can even use 1/64 note if needed.

Hi! Great lesson! There are few dark-skinned people in Russia. So few that I see them once every five years! But don't take it as an insult! You always talk as if you are living the last day! I'm watching this video and a voice sounds in my head: "Hey, what are you sitting for! GO AND DO IT!" Cool motivation just by giving a voice! thank you! Greetings from the Southern Urals, Chelyabinsk, Russia.

It all depends on the material and also check your mix in mono. But if it is stereo file pan it hard left and hard left or even 60% left and right. But this also depends on what other instruments are playing. So you must use your ears and check your mix in mono.
