Officially in the manual there is only flat and the 12 degree option. That 20 degree option is just a hack and looks like it would put unusual tension angles on that cable. Manual section: Adjusting the Opening Height of the Tailgate

Thanks for the tip. Have you heard about the axle bolts coming loose, can ruin the splines, disabling without warning. Some kind of lock is needed.
