Jonathan, I live in NJ and encountered a Messianic Rabbi who lost not one but two of his girls. The first from complications from birth. The second his 6 year old suddenly from an illness. He and his wife suffered, retreated into seclusion surrounded by supportive loved ones and has returned to ministry. What was their anchor - GOD IS GOOD!! There is so much that can be shared but limited by a comment box. My brother, cry, moan, be anger - allow your emotions to be released. Then as King David did, get up, wash your face and put on the word - GOD IS GOOD! In all your ways acknowledge Him. The enemy will use anything to separate us from the Lord. Please my brother - give him no room.

This is the third time I've seen you post about your financial struggles. Sis, I believe God wants you to speak to your mountains, not about your mountains. Faith calls those things that be not as though they were. It don't mean your problems are not there, but as you fill your mind with God's promises through meditation(which means to ponder and say to yourself over and over), joy begins to well up on your inside leading to you praise. Try this for a month and watch God move. God loves to be believed. It hurts him when we doubt because then we are saying he is a liar...and he is not. Unbelief limits God's mighty hand. Papa Hagin taught us that faith is acting like God's word is true. Well, if it is then start acting like it and I promise you will see a miracle. I'm telling you because I'm a living testimony. May last year, I landed in a debt of $20,000. For me in Nigeria that's what people with college degrees earn working for 10 years. I nearly had a heart attack, and began questioning God, but then God reminded me that he loved me and already proved it by dying for me. My eyes opened and my attitude changed. I realized that the devil uses adversity to cause us to doubt God's love. I began rejoicing, praising and declaring my restoration. I did this all day. I was like a maniac. There were times when id remember my debt and tears would well up in my eyes, I'd start speaking the word. A week later, God brought a home business opportunity my way that helped me earn up to $40,000 in 5 months. Sis, act like God's word is true. I'm praying for you. God will restore everything you lost just like he did for me.

Come with humbling and child like. Ask Holy Spirit to help, he shows us. I really didn't have a upbringing, but I can tell each point in my life where God was chasing me down. Sometimes I don't know what to pray so I go back to the same ones. Kris vallotton made an analogy of when your using an age to stir wood. Eventually, it will spilt.

"Search your heart" isn't a direct quote from the Bible, but the concept of examining one's heart is a recurring theme. For example, Psalm 139:23-24 says, "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." This passage speaks to the idea of inviting God to examine one's innermost being. From that place it's amazing to come to the Lord in prayer. 🙏

Groans unto praying in tongues (praying in the spirit). It's yours, ask for it. All the gifts are yours, ask for it. Holy Spirit come, have your way.

If you can find this helpful ... the basis of prayer is about relationship. And relationship results in a dialogue. It's about the knowledge that Jehovah is our Abba, our Father. The prayer of Matthew 6, consider as an outline or a template as you learn to prayer. Another component of prayer is sitting silent. This gives opportunity for prayer to become a dialogue, allowing God to speak. This is an awesome book that transformed prayer for me, Secrets of the Secret Place by Bob Sorge.
