Hi, nice video. Can you share some more info about the format of the questions you had? Were they all multi choice or were there some drag n drop type questions or labs?

I got no IT experience but I passed AZ 900 last week, do you think I should continue with Azure and take 104/204 or do Comptia A+ ?

Probably the AZ104/204 but just make sure you do know some of the topics covered in the A+ because it does cover some of the foundational concepts of IT… check out Professor Messer on RU-vid for videos about it.

No problem. It is just an added star. AZ 900 contains fundamentals which can eventually be known by working closely.

Thanks for the info, I am studying for Az 103 for a while and will take that exam as I was scheduled a while, do you or anyone else suggest any other source, for example, a useful Dump valid question that cal help along studying an official guide, any suggestion will be appreciated.

docs.microsoft.com and then select Azure. Everything about azure is in the Microsoft official documentation. Use Microsoft Learn, they allow you to practice using the sandbox.

I’m A SECURITY ENGINEER by profession , I would like to enter into cloud security platform , I have no previous hands on experience on azure , I just cleared az 900 and I am planning to take az 104 and az 500 , do u think with no prior experience will be able to clear ,since I read the exam it’s a bit tough and more towards case study, your view about this?

My main recommandation is to not take easy the networking part, don't forget to review your az cli commands as well and there's a little part for kubernetes so be prepared for that. Other than that Supertal3 did a great vidéo on how to prepare for it :)

To me personally, I like labs. Tests really what you've got. These questions are fine, but testing on a lab environment is the real stuff.

Really struggling to get into IT professionally. I have about 10 years hobby experience, a year of serious homelab, Diploma in IT, ITIL cert but still can't land an entry level job. I'm hoping the AZ-104 will give me the edge. Ultimately I want to work my way through sys admin, and ultimately security and consulting.

It’s most likely your resume and interviewing ability. Resume gets you the interviews, and if you truly homelab a lot and know your shit you will get the job.

@@Jay16872 I've had a couple of interviews, and they didn't ask anything technical. At the entry level I feel the biggest issue is the competition. In my area there's a very large population of people with experience who will work for a wage I can't afford to live on. Somehow I've got to elevate myself above that, with above average knowledge.

@@mal798 you shouldn't be going for entry level jobs with a bachelor's and homelab experience...

@@Jay16872 Perhaps you're right. Entry level, as far as I can gather is mostly asking people to turn it off and on again, and then escalating to higher level techs. It's mostly customer service, so I've been trying to leverage my 10 years experience in retail and customer service roles. I don't know if it's possible to skip entry level, but it may be with a great resume.

@@mal798 It definitely is possible to skip entry level. Ask any college student getting a junior sysadmin or even admin job right off the bat. it does happen. No need to start from the ground up... that age old mentality needs to die along with the whole if you stay loyal to the company they'll take care of you crap.
