Thanks for this video. I got 12 in all sections 🎉 Pro tips: 1. Take the full length test at least once. No breaks no distractions. I did this one day before test. 2. What you eat/drink before the test matters. Have a decent meal about 2 hours before the test (carbs are good) and don’t overdo coffee Good luck y’all!
I watched your video when I was preparing for the CELPIP. I reviewed for one day and booked the test the next day XD. I got 11,10,9,11. Thank you for the tips!
Just got my test result. Due to my busy work schedule. I had no time to study as I wanted but stumbled on your video on the morning of the exam day and it was very helpful. L:9,R:11,W:10,S:10 Thank you!
Alhamdulilah!! I just got my score- listening-11, Reading-9, Writing -8, speaking-12. This video was of great help getting to know the structure of the exam and also for practice. Great job bro.
@@bhawanakumar1912 Hi! Best of luck with your exam :) If you have a specific question about my experience, let me know. Let me share some things that helped me; 1- I dedicated a day or two to the listening part. I went through the videos here and then watched the CELPIP official RU-vid channel videos. Next came the practising part. There is a RU-vid channel that has mock Listening and Reading tests. They are close to the real ones. I did as much as I could, noting down my score each time to get a better understanding of my level. 2- For writing and speaking, I did the same thing but I bought a course on Udemy that focuses only on Writing and Speaking, it was helpful but this channel, the official CELPIP channel and Ali's channel (this one) were essential. I practised (writing) to the best of my ability. At the time, I wanted (and felt) I needed to practice more and wasn't confident in my ability but I had to work and had family commitments so I did my best. 3- The section that got the least of my attention was the speaking one, although that was the one I felt I really needed to focus on the most because it is vastly different to IELTS. The Udemy course I got laid the foundation and gave me a general understanding of what to expect, Ali's videos were also pretty helpful but there is another channel by someone called Sean (HZad Education), his videos were the ones that helped me the most. Also, Sean has loads of speaking and writing topics on the blog, those are the questions I used to practice. 4- Lastly, honestly I didn't expect my score AT ALL! I did well with the first three parts but in the Speaking, I felt I was too exhausted and used a lot of fillers, and a lot of "uhhmmm". I seriously thought I won't get more than a 7 in Speaking but seems like I was okay after all :D One of the great resources on how to address the speaking part is a RU-vid channel called Ottawa English (I believe), she provided a good structure on how to address each task. Remember, CELPIP is just like IELTS, they claim they are testing your language skills but they are just looking for a specific structure and this is what I did, I learned (like memorized!) the structures and during my practice, I was focused on implementing the desired structure with a few tweaks here and there (like better vocab and grammar). Hope this helps and best of luck.)
@@YusraELSawi Thanks a ton Yusi. Your quick reply really saved me. Got stressed a lot today and wasn't able to sleep. Long time for any exam sort of thing. Really losing myself in this. Thanks a ton.
@Bhawana Kumar I completely understand! I even called three days before the exam to postpone it 😭 but was told I should have done that a week before, and that I won't get a refund...so I just decided to go for it no matter what the results are...my results were a pleasant surprise 😁 What you are feeling is normal. Try not to take it seriously (as much as you can) . Best of luck, and keep me posted on how it goes.
Hello Ali, your video has helped me passed the celpip exam. I kept watching your video over and over. All these tips helped me out. Thank you so much for this video. I hope anyone who needs help turns to this!
I think the CELPIP structure was much simple back in 2021. I got Speaking 7, writing 8, Listening 11 and reading 12 in 2022. Now its hard. DO YOU HAVE ANY RECENT RESULTS FROM 2023?
This video really helped me. Thank you so much. I watched this video three times before my test and only practiced once and I scored an average of 11. Listening - 11, Reading - 10, Speaking - 12, Writing - 12.
Thank you!!! Your video helped me so much. You are awesome!. I did my test last Wednesday and the test results just came in: Listening: 9 Reading: 9 Writing: 11 Speaking: 12 I really needed to pass this test since I need it to do my real estate exam to get my realtors license in September. Thank you again 🙏
Hi Ali, these are really great tips. One point to note is that transfers are not free anymore. It costs $50 to transfer and should be done 7 calendar days before your test.
Salam ALI i am always watching your video here for mu upcoming Canadian English Literacy Exam, very helpful and you inspired me to get a higher a scores. InshaAllah I will pass this weekends 9/Mar/24
Hi Ali, Thanks for this video! This is really handy while preparing for CELPIP. It would be a great help if you can provide a channel or resources that you have used for practicing the modules.

This test is a freakin joke. More like a memory and imagination test with ridiculous time constraints, not exactly realistic. I'm an English person taking this and any non native English speaker has my full respect good luck
Thanks for the compassion. I'm not a native speaker and the part that genuinely drives me mad is listening. Not only it is a memory test, but sometimes the questions itselves are so obscure that I fail to properly answer even after listening to a passage for multiple times
Because they want people to fail so they can get more money out of them! They are extremely greedy. Not even due to health reasons with a medical attestation will they give you a full refund if you cannot attend! They will make you pay 50$ of an already ridiculously high amount for cancelling the test and 50$ in order to change the date! Can a company be more greedy than that?

in the speaking section is there a countdown that tells me how long I've been speaking for? I am wondering how I am supposed to know how long I've been speaking for.
Very informative video Ali, thanks! I have a question, I took the free sample of the celpip test on the website, and during the test, I was able to use the command "Ctrl + F" on the reading section to find keywords to get the answer faster, is this command available during the test or not?
Hello, I am still doing my studies. I will apply for PR next year. Can I give IELTS/CELPIP before finishing my degree and use that score for express entry application, given I apply within the validity of the test? Thank You
