I think this is the most difficult test route in Hong Kong considering all the traffic, parked cars on the side of the road, tight lanes and a FUCKING Tram in the middle of the road.

Hi JefTV, I've been wanting to start riding motorcyles around Hong Kong for a while now. But I'm pretty scared since from my experiences Hong Kong drivers can be quite unaware of cyclists/motorcyclists and also aggressive. How have you been finding it so far? Thanks!

Justin Keung hiiii Justin! Great to hear that there are more and more enthusiast about riding here in Hong Kong! But to answer your question, as long as you follow the regulations about the traffic here in HK, you would be absolutely fine . Sure there would be some reckless drivers out there but it doesnt mean you should be one too! Remember, ride safe and hope to see more riders coming together!

Hi I might be moving to HK soon, can you help me out with a few questions? I'm currently in Australia and have a Ducati and a race prepped CBR. A - Is there any housing areas (affordable) where you could have a garage for bikes and tools? (say under 30,000 HK per month) B - Are there any track days and/or race clubs? C - Do you know if it would be viable to transfer the registration from an Australian registered street bike to HK (I can get it there easily I think) Thanks in advance and nice vid!

A - No。(if you only want a garage under that budget you stayed, try the industrial building on the Kowloon side, the garage could be built inside the factory building) B - No (you need to go to mainland China for track days - that need another visa to get into mainland china) C - Unknown.

Thanks a lot for uploading this video. Its very useful for those who are interested in applying for motorcycle licence. I wanted to ask, do you have 'P' plate on your motorcycle? What if I don't display 'P' plate on my motorcycle? Will there be any penalty?

shakil saeed heyyy !! Im glad this helped you on your journey!!! Indeed i have, if you choose to NOT display the Probation card on your bike, yes there will be penalty if the police catches you. Although you can also choose not to display it but rather you will have to drive by road regulations ALL THE TIME in order not to get check by the police. If you are a new rider i would recommend to have it on, that way it will remind you to stay safe for the first year riding.

I remember first when I took my License, I failed on figure 8 on steep, as the Instructor put us on the bridge on like 45 degrees inclined, I went to shatin school for motoring. most of us failed and drop the bike

Great video. Many thanks. On the figure of 8 do you use the clutch at all except for moving off. Looks really tricky to not jerk the bike about. I passed my part b just starting the part c lessons 😊

Try both during practice. Some people do, some people don't. During my test in the Netherlands, I prefer to use constant throttle & the clutch to feather my power & rear brake to control my speed/stability. But all in all, the test in hk looks easier than the ones we have here in Europe.

not so much, as far as i know, once you get a license you can get any bike you like, even a 1000cc bikes are available.

The way i did it was i went to one of Lee Kin's branches and asked them personally . Well in short , I did all my process with them.

I applied for the driving course on august of last year. I passed written and mandatory test at first go... For the part C I only failed during the 8 figure on the steep slope which apparently was quite difficult to accomplish also considering I've never practiced it.. Having my retake on June 6th.. really pumped

Yes! i went to Lee Kin driving school and they offer English instructors to help you. although it charges slightly more if you choose english.

I want to know about the bikes, are there only 1 type of bike or varieties of bike ? Because I’m short and I’m not sure if I can’t handle the type of bike ( Naked Bike ) that you were on. Are the cruiser bikes available?

actually the one im using in this video is already short and im definitely sure that you will be able to handle this. although im not sure about your height, you can search about the height of this bike, its Honda msx125. hope this can help answer your question :)

YES , you will have to buy your own helmet for the exam and also during the road practices that you are going to have . so please do prepare for this as this is very important .

JefTV lol on my last day before the exam. I scratched someone’s car(it was slight 20cm scratch with the bikes handle bar and he demanded $2000) and now I am going to court and exam got cancelled for me.

if you are referring to the part C which is the Road test , the 8 figure part , yes i stayed in 1st gear. the road part , you can go as much as gear 3
