I took my TEAS exam this past January. I passed on my first attempt. I studied ALOT!! I purchased a study book at Barnes and Nobles. It was literally everything I needed to know. FYI: as long as you do well on the reading and science section, you will automatically pass. Remember to read strategically while doing the reading section. For the science...please please please know the endocrine system. You will need to know hormones and enzymes! Eat something before you go. It is a very long exam. You get a break after the math section and before you do the science section. Good luck to all.
natalie h Hey honey! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I bought the Kaplan ATI TEAS Prep Plus (second addition). Again, I bought it at Barnes and Noble. It is currently $35.99 online right now. That book was my bible. I studied everyday for a few hours. I studied in small sessions so I would remember everything. I hope this helps. Anything else..please let me know! Good luck.
natalie h Your welcome! It was a really good book. Again, make sure you know your hormones and enzymes. Also, know the different layers of skin. The epidermis has 5 layers. I used a white board to help me memorize things. I wrote things on the board, erased it and wrote it again over and over and over until I memorize it. When do you plan on taking it? Let me know how you did. Xo!
Amy C I take it mid July, so I am nervous but I have a little time. Thank you for the tip about the hormones! My weakest point will be the math, I am basically relearning everything so I am focusing a lot on that. Thank you so much again!
Thank you ! I really liked your approach here ! I like how you emphasize focusing on your weaker subjects. & definitely taking the practice test prior to studying . I have been out of school a few years never took the SATs . Never was good at test taking and need to take them to get into an advanced placement RN program .
So sorry to hear you guys complain deeply of failing the exam. But I will assure you that ATI TEAS exam won't be a problem to you anymore,if you work with someone like MRS CATHERINE ALISON. She help me through my exam and I made it through.
Science section is HARD. You will pass the TEAS test if English is your first language and you’re relatively smart. You’ll score high in reading and English sections, this will raise your overall grade. Then Math, is Math.
I am studying for my teas test now and freaking out about taking it. please pray that in the midst of my studying that I will do well and pass. my program requires an overall score of 66% and 70% for the reading section.
I go take my TEAS Test today.....again🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I took the Kaplan and passed about a year ago but the school closed so now I have to take the ATI TEAS Test to go to another school.....wish me luck 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Never got around to making the video. But generally I stuck to things that were light, almonds, walnuts, fresh fruits. I find that big breakfasts can sometimes drain me of energy.
Hey just got here and subscribed immediately. Thanks for sharing your success stories inspires folks like us that' want to start. I wanted to take TEAS exam but needed to prepare for it. You mentioned some books u purchased. Could you help share it with me so as to get some of them for study and preparation. I need to take the exam this year and have to pass at first attempt. Thanks again
My counselor said to take the teas test soon but i haven't taken a chem or physio class yet. Would I be able to get a high score if I just study the teas secret?
Hmm It’d definitely be in your best interest to take chemistry first. And you haven’t taken Anatomy & Physiology? You should take both these classes before teas test or you risk getting a poor score.
@@ACoupleNurses taking Anatomy rn, will take chem in the summer, and physio in the fall. Thanks for replying! I'll probably have to apply the next cycle instead of this cycle considering I haven't taken these classes. But I'll consider my options
Thank God I finally passed my TI TEAS EXAMS ON MY 5th attempt with the help of Mr DAVID, I used his preparation tips. just 3 days of working with him and I passed. I was referred to him by a friend before my exams. Please friends I recommend you to mr DAVID. The man has the key to getting your exam
I haven't taken the ATI teas yet because I haven't started taking my pre reqs yet plus next year in June 2022 they are changing the ATI teas test and I have already bought a study guide for the ATI 6. So I feel a bit overwhelmed because I don't want to study the wrong information and end up not doing well. Not sure if anybody else is in the same boat as me.
I’m scheduled to take the TEAS March 18th. My course load hasn’t allowed for TEAS study time. I’m wondering if it’s still worth it to take a whole day for a test I’ve already paid for? Even though, I know I’m TOTALLY unprepared.
Hey congrats on passing yr teas. I’m taking my in February 🙈so nervous . I bought the ati smart prep but are they similar to the actual test or ......... please let’s me Know Thnks
I’m taking this exam on Monday!! And am freaking out! I focused on studying mostly the systems and understanding those, would you say the science portion is more focused on anatomy and physiology? Or does it also include chemistry or any other types of science?
I think I am struggling with the fact that it is so broad. There’s not really a specific thing to study lol ugh. I take my retake in 2 days and I’m nervous. Hoping my math can come up and push me over the line. My science is in the trash! 🥴😩 can’t teach myself something I don’t understand. 🫠
