This shows you how un-green fingered I am, I thought that loofa's came from the bottom of the sea!!!! But then I realised that they are sponge's, but I have had to watch the video 3 times so that I could take more information in. I can not grow anything, I have tried to grow flowers, carrots, sweet peas, tomato's. cabbage, potato's but I can not get them to grow to full growth, they grow quite well upto a point and then die on me. I have done all sorts of grow feed to my soil, but all I can grow are weeds and I really do not want them but oh my gosh I can grow them so big and fast. take care cos I care lots, big hugs and kisses for the kiddo's, love Jill xoxo (UK)
Channon, I’m sorry for when I first starting watching you, I judged you for your past, which is so wrong for me, but after watching few of your videos, you’ve made me realize not to judge a book by the cover. You truly do have such a genuine soul, so caring and so honest. Thank you for sharing your life with us and showing us that people can change. Lots of love 💕
Channon what other plant based ideas do you have in mind for your garden next season? This can be to eat, use in your household, etc. Also, any tips/tricks on what you would of done differently looking back at the start of your gardening season this year? I’m sure you’ve learned so much from start to finish🤗😁🥰 Lastly, any plans on having your very own organic store? You certainly have the passion, heart and drive for it.
I’m guessing you’ve probably harvested all the loofa but now, but I would have loved to see how they looked while still on the vine! I was today years old when I learned just how a loofa actually looked before it became the sponge I’m used to seeing! P.S. Channon that was so cute seeing your face painted by Snow!
That was Awesome Channon I was waiting to see if they ended up Growing for you, they came out Awesome 👏 I’m still fascinated by them because I really did think they came from the Ocean Originally, that was Amazing for your first try of growing them, I’m fascinated by the like soapy stuff that was in them anything Natural surely has to be good for your Skin!!! Thank You For Showing Them…🌹
I love to see Chan living this much slower life!! I loved the fast life also but I was very similar in my youth and now live a slower life I wish I could plant and grow things like this! When she wants something she works her tail off and gets it!! I hope she’s finally truly happy and living her best hippy life!! Snow was so cute singing in the background and the I loved the makeup look she did!!
If you wait until the skin is dry and crispy on the vine, the fibers have time to continue to develop into a fully developed loofah sponge and the seeds fall right out 😊
Wow I never knew that they came from a plant! Whoa! Ya learn something new to everyday! You’ve got some skills, mama. Truly. I’ll be starting my garden next spring, pray for me🤣😅😘♥️♥️

That's so interesting! Thank you. I'm going to try it when I get a house of my own again. BTW I got the Halloween card of your family. Again, thank you so much
WOW that’s so cool Channon, I really kept wondering what you were growing and I thought am I dumb or is she really saying Loofa and then you showed them on Instagram stories I’m like oh I see now... You’re Amazing Channon!!! I’m have to try that next year it’s so cool too see them harvest. Can’t no one tell you anything now lol I love it.. Travis Is proud of you too!
It’s amazing, what you can grow in your backyard. I love that house and yard . You both are truly blessed . I’m learning a lot from watching you , thanks .🥰 try a long bread knife to get the seeds out. Might be easier.
This looked really cool so i was reading up on it and discovered that these are bacteria magnets because all the dead skin cells do not wash out of these all the way when you rinse them and inbetween uses bacteria can grow. I am a little hesitant about using these now. Or maybe I'm overreacting after reading about them. What does everyone else think?
I’ve often wondered the same thing. I used these a few years back, but stopped when I came across the same information. Surely there’s a way to disinfect them somehow, but maybe not. I know I didn’t use mine any longer than a couple weeks. Great question!
