Your eyes are just like mine-double eyelids and limited lid space! I've made all the mistakes that you talked about in the beginning of the video :) Your advice is 100% legit!! One advantage is that our hooded eyelids are already very defined, so we can get away with just tight-lining if we don't want a flick (or even no eyeliner imo). Great tips Kelly! I'm looking for a waterproof liner for tight-lining (I don't want to support Maybelline bc it's not cruelty-free). Any further suggestions for oily eyelids + watery eyes? :)
You can try out the Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil or Nyx eye pencil but I don’t know if they’re cruelty free or not. I couldn’t agree more with you about just tightlining, that’s what I did all the time before I figured out how to make the winged eyeliner look good on me, lol. Thank you for the tutorial :D. I have monolids and epicanthic folds, but I don't know how to do flattering eye makeup on monolids so I use lid tape to create "double eyelids", then I have hooded eyes instead LOL. I used to apply thick eyeliner as you demonstrated at the beginning, which ended up taking all the space and when I open my eyes the eyeshadow is barely seen. So far I find thin eyeliner with light-colored eyeshadow close to lash line the most flattering for my eye shape.

I know how you feel! Before I figured out how to make it work for my hooded eyes, I didn’t wear eyeliner at all because every time I put it on it just didn’t look nice, I just removed it right away. Don’t give up, girl, I have a few different methods to do eyeliner on my channel, you should give it a try!
I wish this would work for me, but my hood closes off at the end, so I don't even have that mobile lid space to do anything with. Will have to stick with puppy eyeliner style
So sorry to hear that but in your case the best bet is to go with the puppy eyeliner. Have you tried the bat wing liner? That one can go over the hood and turn out really great for some people :)
my dumbass didn't know what kind of eyes I had since i'm very new at makeup and I got this kiko eyeliner which has a super thick line DNALDAL that's why it never works for me.. but as soon as I get a new one, I'm trying this look!
thanks for the tutorial, i figured out how to do the liner, but i'm waiting on my christmas present (a SUPER thin pack of angled brushes for professionals) to do the thinner line

Thank you for your useful tips! Why don't you try cool tone for your color make up? For example, instead of coral orange, please give a shot of fuchsia pink lips!? 'Cause my skin tone is similar to you, I can tell! 😊
Thanks for your suggestion. Because I have warm undertone, the fuchsia pink lipstick doesn’t look flattering on my skin tone. But I will do a cool tone makeup look in the future. Stay tuned!
I have hooded eyes and also sensitive eyes, and i really love cat eyes a lot but bye2 eyeliners, becos we never meant to be😅 i always end up with red eyes 😢 i switch to cat eyes eyelash extension 😂

Ive tried many times.... At the end its looks like sperm tail going out from my eyes.. Haha.. So thin.. When i try to make it thick.. Its look like the first one u show... 😂 🤣
Maybe it’s because your eyes are so hooded, have you tried puppy eyeliner? I have a tutorial on my channel, that looks really flattering on super hooded eyes or even mono lids!
I have been there! To keep your eyelid taut, when your eye closes use your finger on the other hand to keep the lashes in place then draw, hope it helps! 😉

I use the cleansing balm to massage my eyes for about 30s to 1min to remove it, you can also use cleansing oil. Micellar water sometimes can not remove as good and sting the eyes if you have sensitive eyes.
For eye makeup, if you use waterproof mascara or do tightlining, it’s really hard to remove with just micellar water. I recommend oil based makeup remover instead 😉
