This is how to perfectly adjust front derailleur to work with absoluteBLACK Road OVAL chainrings. This instruction can be used for all sizes of Road Oval chainrings and all crank combinations except Sub compact 46/30T set.
You will need a 2mm allen key for the range adjustment and 5mm allen key for mounting bolt adjustment.
Trouble shooting:
*If your derailleur overshifts the chain when moving from small ring to the big ring, then it means your gap is greater than 2mm (see video). You need to reduce the gap. The other cause may be that your front derailleur is too high compared to what is advised on the video. Last thing to check is if your cage is parallel to the big chainring face.
*If your front derailleur is hesitating to shift from small to the big ring then two issues may be present. There may be too little of the gap (2mm - see video) or your cage is not parallel to the big chainring face.
