Nice video! I have a doubt, though: is the recipient in the middle porous to the media in which it is inserted? I have never seen this type of culture plate/dish. Is it semi-porous or something?
Yes.. these are PC inserts. They have high pore density to allow more exchange through the membrane for transport studies and other applications where optimal cell growth is desired for example....
