It seems easy enough, but have you mastered the two essential military commands of standing at attention and at ease? Get on your way to basic training: bit.ly/2qBZM5k
It's interesting to see how small details differ from nation to nation with the larger concept staying the same. In the German military, at ease and attention are performed largely the same, with the differences that at ease has the left hand loosely holding the back of the right hand without specific instructions for the thumb. When standing at attention, it's also mostly the same except for the fingers being naturally extended alongside the thumb instead of being curled up.
I am In JROTC, So this stuff Is very helpful, especially with my squad leader always demanding for the company to be at ease... I am a Private, so I can't say it, though I'd love to be able to command Orders one day, Especially with me planning to be in the U.S.A.F. My teacher is First Sergeant Garcia, First Name, Rene, And he is a great teacher, Anyone from the Army may know him, because he is a Retired U.S. Army Cadet.
My dad was retired army after 20 years. He passed away in 2016 due to complications from alcoholism. I miss him every day. Your humor is spot on and I wish I could send this to my dad. He really would have gotten a kick out of it. See you down range. 🫡
