Black and nude nails are such a classic and sexy combination! I say this all the time - sometimes the more simple or 'less" the design is, the more beautiful and effective it is. This is a great example of that. Letting the structure of the nails and the crisp line between the glitter and nude is showcased perfectly. While you could definitely hand paint the black on for a similar look, I think encapsulating the design is far more dramatic in this design. Beautiful!!!! 🖤💎🖤💎🖤💎

When you were looking through that box of crystals I saw a snowflake shaped one - I would *LOVE* to see how you'd attach that one! I have some that are very similar and idk how to use them so they don't catch on everything since they're so big and flat vs the curve of the nail. 😘😘😘
Side note: this reminds me of the side French that you did with the cateye gel a couple of years back. Can’t remember the color, but it made the cateye look like velvet!!!

Beautiful. Customers get what they want but I really would’ve just did that polished. There is really no need to encapsulate a lot of things so she when it comes to polish or glitter is because just gonna file them off anyway.

These are really pretty. Not many gel techs that I've seen use this method for French's but I really like it. Is it more challenging/more work to do it that way? Also, I have a question regarding the curve of her nails. I notice many techs say to have the free edge go out sort of straight, but I notice your clients always sort of curve down. Is that in purpose? Maybe you just show the same few clients, but anyway, I just like learning different techniques and styles, etc, so I'm curious. I personally like the look.
This how I been doing nails because I don't have gel polishes but I am slowly but surely getting some 🙏😬🙏 having 5 kids kinda gets in the way 🤦♀️ lol I gotta have my nail lab or I'll go crazy with nothing but males in this house 🤣🔪 anywho love this set and as always you did an amazing job 👏
🖤 Beautiful design 🖤 I definitely want to try some of light elegance's builder gel. I'm new to gel and not a nail tech. I can't use acrylic in the house due to the monomer smell and family members with asthma. So I'm having to switch to gel for the winter/colder months. I tried IBD, since I was able to get it at Sally's. It was ok.... but I want something with more color and something that is going to be easier to work with. Also not a big fan of poly gel. So for a beginner, you recommend the cool gel? I need something that is going to give me a little bit of time with out it running off the nail. And something that self leveling would be really helpful as well. I'm open to suggestions for other products as well. Let me know what ya'll use.
