(Sorry this is a long reply, but need info!) My significant other just did his first couple presses on the new Heat Press, using the same method in the video but when completed there was a white "outline" against the black stitching edges where it appears none of the color was transferred though the rest of the gaming pad took the sublimation perfectly. My question to YOU is IF you have heard of or seen this outcome before and if you are aware what the problem was and hopefully the solution that had the entire image transferred without any remaining white showing near edges, lol. (Asking just in case there is a problem/fix known that we haven't/won't stumble across, lol.) The Clamshell he uses regrettably only has a knob you turn to increase/decrease pressure with no indication of how much exactly that is. He's hoping it wasn't enough and will trying increasing. Also, would there be any difference in the completed work if he were to have the black bottom of the mat facing up instead of down as you did?

If there is a white line near the edge, it is very likely that your printed transfer wasn't large enough and/or did not extend all the way to the edge. To fix this, we recommend printing your transfer with a bleed area of at least 1/8" (0.125") on each side. This means your transfer should extend beyond the edge of your substrate by at least 1/8" on each side. This will ensure full edge-to-edge coverage on your substrate.

@@HeatPressNation Thank you kindly for replying, first and foremost! 💚 I mentioned adding the .5" to each side as it suggested in this video (or the .125 you suggested in reply), however he told me he'd ALREADY added a full inch of bleed area to both dimensions, just to be safe. (These are 24x14 2.55mm gaming mats he's sublimating on, so gave the bleed area some bleed area :p ). Yesterday he printed on same size mats, same image, without the stitched edges and everything came out just fine. Looked up some additional info on adjusting pressure on a 24x31 clamshell with 2 pressure knobs (and NO dang readout) to try and assure even distribution ((paper in between plates at each of the 4 corners)). The next time he prints on the stitched ones, I'll reply if it goes wrong again after adjust pressure knobs. Again, thank you for the reply!

@@ella_mental Hi did you find a solution for the white outline on the stiched pads? We are having problems with that. Let me know if you fixed it.

@@killemx2017 Although he did find a solution that worked; keep in mind the result isn't still PERFECT although MUCH better : The recommended press time had been listed at around 90 seconds, and all he ended up needing to do was greatly increase the press time; upped it to 300 seconds. Again -- this still didn't offer a 100% perfect fix, but it definitely worked pretty darn well. I hope this helps you and good luck!

@@ella_mental 300 seconds?? Wouldn’t the colours of the print be way worse?
