“The Bite Shot” - Tips for photographing food head on: tips and notes I pulled from the video: 1. Check your background: incorporate backdrop (think of the color, tone, etc. and how it plays with the colors and vibe of the food to set the tone for your photo.) There isn’t a right or wrong, but the mood and energy of the image can be altered by the background just as much as the platform you’re working on top of. 2. Check your horizon line - remember to use the level on your tripod or a handheld. Also, be sure you’re not only level but your horizon line falls at a complimentary place. See 5:15 for examples. Think tonal back drop, angles (lower or higher while staying head on). This is important when shooting different color or tone backgrounds from your platform. I.e., a black countertop and a white background board or paper. 3. Another way to avoid the background issue and to change the tone of the photo is to make the platform you work on top of as well as the background the same color and “block” the line where they meet with props that work with the color scheme of your food. You could also achieve this with a roll of back drop paper. (See 6:53) 4. Give space between background and subject. If you pull the subject matter (cake, cookie, whatever you’re photographing) you’ll not only create more atmosphere, but you’ll also get better focus as you have a foreground. 5. Add detail items to foreground and background, working composition so that everything isn’t just laying straight across the horizon. 6. In order to make sure your food item is focused in all the ways you’d like to be, think of playing with aperture and detail placement. (see 9:30)

Another option is to fill the frame and close-up with everything in sharp focus to show details in the object! When the viewer sees the details like the grain in the meat, or the juices oozing out, or clearly see the sauces like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, barbecue, relish, or what ever you include in the dish you are photographing, it will make the hungry and want to eat the food in the photo.

I know its like a great help to everyone by comment on the video content, But there is an issue that works due to the RU-vid algorithm if you do this!!!! So A person coming to watch the video notices this comment ,Take a note on it, skim through the video by without watching it completely and go to the next vidoe coz he already noted down everything that he need from this video. Now, RU-vid thinks that the content creator has made a falsie thumbnail which attracts people with some wrong content it, which doesn't match with the thumb nail, Because the watcher just skimmed through the video and is now gone with out completely watching it. So if you wanna support the youtuber PLEASE STOP COMMENTING THE CONTENT!!
