Yeahhh I think so too! Especially if it's the first one, can be overwhelming. But I'd say... Take one action step every day even if it's 5 minutes and stop "researching" haha 🤣
Great video. You could create digital products like how to do video-editing for RU-vid, how to create a proper RU-vid studio and using cameras, setting up lighting, how to get brand deals, etc, etc. Digital products are a big money maker for RU-vidrs on top of adsense and sponsors.
Thanks for watching and hope this video gives you some clarity about what side hustle to start off with! ❤👇COMMENT BELOW if you have a side business, a full-time business, or are you thinking of starting one?
Oh my goodness. Your channel sure has grown this year! I do have a full-time business, but are working towards diversifying income without just scrambling my time management skills.
It's so funny that I think I recognized you from your media presence for period products, as we used to own Bluebird Pads [Vancouver Island]. That's wild! When I first saw you on Claire's channel, I was like, "It so strange, I feel like I recognize her!" [LOL]
Your videos have been so inspiring! I love watching your journey and seeing every step of the process. I have been thinking about creating digital products and selling on etsy but got a little overwhelmed on the starting process. I'm still doing a lot of research on stuff like DBA and any legal things I'd need, but watching your journey does make me want to keep going! And I think that means a lot 🥰 thank you!
Uber Eats has been amazing in my area actually. I do it as a supplementary income source in evenings after the office. Go out for 3-4 hours and it's always busy since I live in the middle of multiple hot spots with malls and a million restaurants all around. And since the pandemic, people have gotten used to ordering food online. But then again I also enjoy driving so it's very relaxed and stress-free. And the customers are very cool too when they greet me at the door.
Hi Dina! Thanks for this video! Wow you had a lot of side hustles! I love what you said about choosing a side hustle based on your goals and it is true that creating a side hustle is hard in the begginning. Easy, make cash now and less cost sounds good to me (passive income)! RU-vid is sooo tempting to do but it will take years to make income😅 - MissBerna
Bit confused about the tiktok one, usually companies/influencers/etc.. request that you already have experience and show them a portfolio or previous work/client list. How did you get it without experience??
You can build a portfolio of sample projects even if you don’t have experience. You can search up “user generated content” (UGC) creator. They aren’t influencers who post on their own social media pages. Instead, they create the videos/photos for the COMPANY to post on the COMPANY’s social media pages. For me, I had my youtube already and already made some short-form content for youtube and instagram, even though I hadn’t used tiktok before.
@@DinaLu Thanks for replying!🙏 Interesting. So basically you mean, for example, someone never created any content for anyone ever (not even themselves), they can go and make random insta posts for example and use those as samples? (But we wouldn't have any post/story performance data since it's just a sample post not an actual one, so no data on whether the post would actually perform well or not)
If you have a business operating full time that would be consuming every moment you have. You have 4 full time businesses, huh? To each their own, but this is not what it is really like running / owning a business. If I had to manage 4 separate full time business that would be literally impossible, this the word full time, it takes all your time.
