I'm getting married in 2 months and of all the wedding dress channels yours has impressed me the most. You are straight to the point, you cover all dress types, I absolutely love how you personally wear the various dresses and you always remind us that we are individual and there is no box to fit into.

I have a pair of heels I've had for years (they're in great condition) that are a wine red color. I used to wear them when I worked in wedding registry. Im wearing a mid length gown that's an ivory lace and I just keep asking myself if they could be my something old. They always made me feel so confident and elegant.

This is amazing! I just found my dress today and said yes! I went to the bridal shop with a 3 inch heel and it worked well. I’m probably going to get another shoe for both my ceremony and reception dresses. These are great videos. I just subscribed

2:40 I'm actually doing the opposite! Wearing flatter shoes for the first part of the wedding (garden party especially) and then putting on a higher heel for the reception, first dance etc so I don't trip over my own feet + the shoe is more visible :) This video is very helpful though, I haven't committed to a sneaker or boot for the flatter shoe yet so knowing about things like shoe fabrics sticking to the dress is so helpful.

What if you’re 5’8 and don’t want to wear heals because your fiancé is 5’10… I don’t know where to buy a pretty flat. Probably a flat sparkly Sandal.. idk where to find pretty ones

Can you go into what is the best colors to wear with different styles? Nude? Sparkly ? Colored?

Those are all preferences for each person. For shoe style, I recommend what is the most comfortable for you. Sparkle is great, but it could catch on to the dress, so you'll want to try the shoes with the dress's fabric to see what works best. Colored shoes pop more when you walk, so if you're okay with the color showing and popping out, great! If not, I always recommend something more neutral to go with your skin tone or dress color so it's a more monochromatic look that blends. :) Hope that helps!

Thanks for this video! I feel like I’m still really struggling with what type of shoe to wear with my dress (beaded/lace - Lazaro Rey). Do you have any suggestions for a shoe to wear with this dress? I’ve been checking out Bella Belle shoes so far.

Hi Alexa, of course, it's my pleasure! Bella Belle has great shoes - we feature them in-store at Lovella Bridal. I would say go with whatever shoe you love the look of and have a back up nude comfortable shoe at the same heel height you can change in to with a platform front so your foot can get a little relief if need be. Hello! I have not had brides mention this to me! However, based on your dress and shoe - it is always possible. I recommend testing it out and seeing if it gets caught on. your dress. Wishing you a remarkable wedding day! ☺️

Hi Erica! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! So happy to hear you enjoyed this video. When it comes to shoes - wear what you are comfortable in. This is a completely personal choice. In terms of you not wanting your feet to show. Please be sure you communicate this with your bridal stylist when you are shopping for dresses and your seamstress when they go to alter your dress. I recommend avoiding a pointed-toe show if you are wearing a more fitted dress. They have a tendency to show and peak out more when you are standing.

My dress is ivory, but still looks white. I just want to wear a simple low heel pump. Should I wear white ones, or beige? Nobody will be seeing my feet, but just in case the toe of my shoes peeks out, I don’t want my shoes to clash.

I dont think you are wasting the seamstress time if you come without shoes. I mean if you have only alterations to the length of the dress, then i get the point. But I got all my alterations done except for the length, because I still have some time and I dont have the shoes just yet. No problem at all 🤷🏼‍♂️

Without the shoes they can’t do the hem or your bustle. You take up another appointment time slot when breaking up your appointments. So it’s just not as efficient for everyone’s time. To each their own. 😊
