That's so funny! I never understood why a Japanese person is mistaken for a Han Chinese, or a Han Chinese person being mistaken for Japanese, they get all upset about it. But when I mistake some Filipinos to be Japanese, they take it as a compliment.
Or do what my sister soes and mispronounce the words on purpose because i tell her a name and she says it right after a while the goes back to mispronouncing the words
