Hello Adeep, Thank you for your helpfull video. However, im having trouble. In my video i need the mask object to have a fixxed position, and I often need to reposition the underlaying video. However when I do that, the Mask shape move with it. How do I prevent that?

i had the same problem and i found a solution, make the square white instead of black and place it below the layer you want to mask, then instead of using the track plugin thing just change the blending mode (on the opacity tab) to darken.

The video I drew my shape on top of does not appear in the track matte's list of videos. I want to select "video 1" but it doesnt give me the option to.
