Hi lade, pls I will be using my dad's palour but I really need idea on the sitting pattern and also will a decoration be needed and also, what do you think of take away food pack and munch on chin chin, groundnut and biscuits with drinks while the event is going on.
This was very helpful. I've been feeling overwhelmed with the planing and this really simplified it. You mentioned that you helped package the gifts from the groom's family. At what point did you do this. Did you have to go to their house to helpt wrap the gifts or they brought it in a day before?
I’m happy it helped you. The gift exchange is not formal... ours happened after the ceremony. The MC doesn’t need to announce it at all. Someone from your family needs to give it to them saying thank you for coming.
Thanks for this it really helps me because am planning my introduction now and it 1st to be done in my family, pls can you share your idea of gift exchange with the spouse family because I don't know much about that(like what to buy).pls I will do appreciate your reply
A nice fruit basket. make it like a hamper. you can add other random things to it. I made a fruit basket in my time and i included things like a carton of biscuits, a pack of stick sweet for the children in the family... You can add a pack of drinks instead of biscuit or just the fruit hamper. I hope this helped. Congratulation, God bless your home
Hello ma, thank you for this insightful video... I will like to know if one can go for either cake or throw pillow for the introduction ceremony as well.
Hello Tope, sorry I’m just getting to reply your comment. Ideally they are not supposed to do anything because they’re the guest and the brides family is hosting.... that was obtainable many years ago and even now in some cases. However, it’s a matter of understanding. If the the brides family’s budget is for a few people, the grooms family need to be understanding enough to cooperate and if they want it bigger, they can support. Usually they would bring some gifts for the brides family. Something for the children of the brides family. My in-laws brought a few cartons of biscuits, drinks and fruits.
Thank you for this video I’m planning my introduction soon But I’m clueless, please what’s the order of the ceremony like What questions would be asked that the bride and groom needs to know Is there going to be a ring Please help me
The thing is I am the first child of my parent dat want to do an introduction so I told my father to write me list of what to bring but what he's written is very poor
So I want u to help me list down the important things to bring cause the introduction is coming up in October so I need to get the list of what to buy before the time
I'm not sure where your email is listed. My fiance is Caribbean but at the last minute my family (yoruba) decided i should still do a traditional engagement! I've rented a small hall expecting about 30 people. But I have some questions. I was born and raised in the U.S so I don't have much knowledge of the process.
