Yes. Shirakawa go is a beautiful place to visit. I stayed at a hotel near the Takayama train station and took a bus from there to Shirakawa go. Takayama is also beautiful. I love this region of Japan. Great informative video!! 👍🏼

Yasss! Loved the morning market in Takayama! Have you been to Gokayama? That’s the one place on our Chubu list that we haven’t visited yet. 😭 They say it has very similar vibe to Shirakawa.

@@thepoortraveler Yes. Good memories of walking around the town/morning market by the river in Takayama. Haven’t been to Gokayama. But will definitely keep it mind. Can’t wait for borders to reopen so I can resume exploring Japan and other countries.
