i enjoyed using a tapered fall on my first. thank you very much for that. i would like help with how to use a longer rod in the handle to approximate hybrid performance. i used 15" fiberglass in place of 12" following Adam's "bare bones" whip, but i also extended the belly and the adds, winding up with a 9 ft. now i hope to build a sensible 7 ft. how does a 16" rod sound? thanks for the encouragement, teaching, and kindness.
This is a very interesting method for figuring out strand lengths. I sometimes find that I get overly tedious. I have a request for a future video as well. Could you make a detailed video on how to do an English Eye build in detail, I can't find a video that does a good job of explaining how the process works.
I multiply 12x6 to get 72 because I want the whip to be 6 foot long. 12 inches in a foot i want the whip to be 6 feet. 12 inches x 6 foot gives me how many inches long the whip is to make strand drops easier. And the overlay is 16 strands
@@eliasonwhipco Thanks that cleared things up for me, feeling kind of stupid not getting my head wrapped around on how to figure out how to calculate length of the strands. Maybe I'm slow learner.
Yes the method over all would work you would have to adjust the amount of strands to 28 on the overlay and I think to get your lengths with the 275 cord you would want to times it by 1.8 or 2
