Been to Ireland twice, and it has been FANTASTIC. I didn't get to Skellig Michel (Star wars and Puffins), so I need to go back. It will be GREAT to go back again. I recommend the National Leprechaun Museum, in the Jarvis section of Dublin, just across from the Jarvis Luau station.

Great video. I don't have global entry yet, but have found upgrading to Polaris class on my last couple of trips has gotten me through USA customs clearance within Dublin Airport very quickly as you get priority checkin and priority security clearance. Also, not all pound sterling is created equal. In Northern Ireland, each bank will issue their own set of pound sterling notes. Having worked as a consultant throughout the entire UK before moving to the US, I quickly learned that trying to use pound sterling notes issues from Northern Ireland banks was almost impossible in Great Britain. In England the Bank of England issues their own pound sterling notes which are universally accepted within the UK. I believe the Scottish banks also issue their own pound sterling notes, but these are generally accepted in Northern Ireland and England. ATMs at airports in Northern Ireland will generally issue Bank of England notes. If you are planning a trip purely within Ireland you shouldn't have any issue with notes issues from an ATM in Northern Ireland, but if you plan to extend your visit to other parts of the UK, you should certainly consider getting Bank of England pound sterling notes.

A LEAP Card should be purchased for easy bus transport. Customs in Ireland was, different. It was remarkable easy. The SIM CARD was quite simple and worked just fine. The adapter I purchased in Dublin.
