There is NO specific or scientific method to planting cassava seedlings. They can be planted anyhow including horizontally. There is also no specified length of the seedlings because they can be the length of a match box. I know this because I've done it. With success. One of the most important elements of cassava production apart from soil preparation is the few months after the cuttings have germinated. The need tender-loving care at this stage.
