Absolutely love your channel!! Hi from Arizona!! We're so into cyclamen... You've helped us so much ... however we're gonna have to adjust for the desert! It's May here and our cyclamen are still bloomin! And yes,. I'm a Texan! We have tons of trees, grass and flowers at our home. Lots of extra work here in Arizona! But we're takin your advice and videos for our cyclamen seeds! Love ya!!
Thanks Lisa, can't believe I'm reaching people in the USA, I'm new to all this internet stuff. Going to be collecting cyclamen seed soon so will do a little video about that. All the very best and happy gardening Robbie 😎oh, also have a Facebook page as stinky ditch nursery with a bit more of a video diary each day if you do Facebook
Yes you’re reaching out the Arizona. I’ve never planted Cyclamen before. I have a shady spot where I’d like some color at and it only gets an hour of sun a day. It’s the first of November here and cyclamen is the only plant I’ve found at the local nurseries where lack of sun isn’t a problem. Don’t know what a meter and a half is though. Thanks for sharing, your soil looks great. 👍
Bruceann Yellowega cyclamen hederfolium for autumn flowers and cyclamen coum for winter. They are lovely little plants that have really caught my imagination. They love the shade and self seed to produce a carpet of flowers after a few years, oh and 1.5 meters is about 4 and a half feet, all the best from the Uk, Robbie
Hi been watching your vids. Successful grown from last years seeds but now all little corms seem to be fading and wilting. Is this their dormant season or should I expect leaves all year . Cheers.
Hi Deck1ing UK, no need to worry, they are just going dormant for the summer. They will spring back to life at the start of autumn. I hope this helps Robbie 🌻
Salome Olivia sounds like you have cyclamen hederfolium, flowers coming up before the leaves? Originally from around the Mediterranean they love this weather we are having, mine have started to flower also, the dark pinks first for some reason. Hederfolium flower from July-September followed by cyclamen cilicium in September-October then the cyclamen coums throughout the winter ending in March. So don’t worry your little beauties are fine. Really exciting time of the year for me seeing the first flowers appearing, most growers are winding down now but for me the party has just started and goes on until March! Hope this puts your mind to rest, all the best Robbie
