How to Plant Pansies in Pots

i normaly try to grow mine into a "full bushy flowery plant" (i try to keep mine for years, my aunnals i have are 3 yrs old. so i try to keep them as long as i can.. i live in a desert so i i hope you know a good potting mix i could make for these flowers so they dont dry out fast..

Do I need to add any soil in potting mix?

Do you put in shade or sun

Looks beautiful

they're not hard to get out of the container if you water them first

Do these give bad allergies? I'm planting some.
