Hi Joann, Hyacinths should be planted in the autumn. If you do not plant hyacinths within this period, they may not grow root systems strong enough for prolific stem and blossom growth. Thanks for watching!
Are your bulbs out side in a pot or in the ground? If they are in a Pot outside the might of been killed by the icy weather? Check that they are still alive, if they feel soft they could be dead. If they are still hard they might be just still dormant. They only survive severe cold if they are buried in the ground about 3-5 inches but if they are in a small pot then they need to be indoors when it gets below -5c Hope this helps
I noticed you put rocks in first. I will never do that again, I've done it 3-4 times and the plants always die. I was told it's best since i have clay soil. But I'd say not, because all the plants with no rocks are thriving.
If you are unsure about where they’re from and what they are please report it! People were getting unknown seeds sent to them and it’s not recommended to plant them
Normal get 3 bulbs £4 at garden centre. Container of choice I have used a glass punch bowl for years but also plant pots and plastic lined baskets. £3 compost to fill And most expensive patience... Which is my biggest struggle.
