My 2008 LCD TV has a 4:3 HD option when changing the picture aspect ratio that allows you to play pandora's box in 4:3 with the vertical black bars on the side. All other TVs I've seen only have the 'normal' option, which on pandora's box doesn't change the picture from 'wide' mode, so the picture is horribly stretched no matter what. Whatever happened to the 4:3 HD option in TV'S?
I applaud you and your godlike ability to make mame machines. People truly don't understand the value of emulation. Epecailly nintendo with them suing emulation companies because they aren't making profit and consider it "piracy" but is it really though? In legal terms I cannot argue with that. However these games have been collecting dust unless your an old school game enthusiest like myself and still get a tickle playing them. Preservation of good childhood nostalgia is a far better term. And nostalgia is very good for the brain believe it or not. It increases dopamine of happiness. Lol A lot of people shit on emulation and most likely because those people don't know what the fuck they are doing Or they have a really shitty emulator or fake mame. Not legit. But I use softmodded consoles a lot such as the original Xbox running coin ops 7 and 8. Have been reading a lot about final burn alpha for the Xbox 360 but one thing I will admit I'm illiterate with is soddering wiring and even finding files on a pc lol so I have people do it for me.

I just bought a pandoras box 9h and I am using a usb hub with two logitech F310 controllers connected to it for 4 player games. When I try playing TMNT, Simpsons, it doesn’t let me choose 4 players. When I go to IQ test, it only shows 1P and 2P and I don’t see 4 controllers. What am I doing wrong?
Hey quick question , my bottom usb doesn’t detect. What should I do. It’s for the second controller. I rather have the person next to me play on a controller as well.
TUNA FTW That’s a great question. It has VGA and HDMI our but I don’t think there’s a JAMMA version of the Key 7 that I know of. I have a IDE (or whatever they call that interface in the board) to Jamma converter on it but I don’t think it passes the video. It’s a great question, I unfortunately don’t have a great answer for you on that one. 😕
In my caso TMNT in time whenever i press start or coin it adds coins to the firts controller, it doesn't matter if i press it on Player's 1 buttones o player's 2 bottons
@RetroRalph, I don’t know if you or anybody else has covered this, but maybe you can help me or point me in the right direction. Are there any videos on how to convert a TMNT or NBA Jam Arcade1up to use 4 joysticks with any versions of the Pandora’s Box?
I'm guessing that this could also be done using a Raspberry Pi or a PC, right? I really love the idea of having the option of playing 4 player games. There are some really good ones out there, as you mentioned. Great video, again. :)

@@RetroRalph I'd actually give that board a shot, after seeing you play with it. But, with our funny money being worth what it is today (Canada), it's almost $100 to get one. Maybe later. :)
Manuel Davila Yes, I have only tested the 3B + but that’s kind of the standard model these days. You will just need 4 USB encoders, one for each player. This will usually require you to get a USB hub. I actually cover this in the 4 player turtle mod I did. Check it out when you get a chance. I used a Pi 3B+ ... I hope this helps!
Hey Ralph, did you ever test the 4 players on the Pandora Games 3D? I haven’t been able to get it to work with any usb controllers. I also tried using a hub. The controllers just don’t show up in the settings menu. The eBay vendor said to use a ps3 controller but I’m not confident on buying one just for that.
@@cd9306 I have the same issue. Been trying to get the 3rd gamepad working so I can play with my kids in the Simpsons.. But everytime I set up the 3rd gamepad, the right side arcade controller on the box doesnt work. So we end up playing 2 players regardless.
This is what I want to do to the Arcade 1up Ninja Turtles cab when it releases. Would it work? Could I just use the 4 included joysticks and add a bunch of 4-player games with Pandora 7?
In theory yes, since you can add games to the board you could add all the 4-Player mame roms. Here's a list of most of the 4-Player Arcade games: www.recroommasters.com/MAME-4-Player-Games-List-s/76.htm I haven't gone through the extensive testing to see what encoder boards work best so I would hold off making any plans till I complete all the test. So far it's been stable and reliable but the real test to use it in an arcade machine with 4 players will be the encoder boards. I should have more information on this shortly. I'm not sure how to ask this question, so I'm building a 4 player bartop with pandora box 3d but what I'm curious if player 1 is assigned to far left and player 4 is far right. Will I have issues when playing fighting games.

Hey Buddy, I understand that not every controller works with every Pandoras version. I saw a video and the PS3 controller should work on the Pandoras Saga, but it doesn't. Any advise?
