Different way to playing five stud poker. I learnt as a kid so probably didn't have all the rules then. Just discovering this site now. I am on security guard night shift and I have a star wars themed pack of cards and want to suss out some solo games while I am between patrols.
Theres a few ways to play this 52 Card variants Standard 52 Card Stud very similar to 7 card Stud. Soko Canadian Stud A-5 Lowball California style. Think Razz. Ace to 8 (Stripped deck) all cards below an 8 are taken out. Leaving only 8,9,10,J,Q,K,A. There's A-5 Versions and stripped deck A-8 version.
If u dont want to raise or dont have to call u can check if no one raised before your turn.i dont belive u have to double the bet to raise.i think that was just an example
Good question, I was wondering the same. From the comment above me seems like they are able to look at the face down card. Wish the video creator would have covered that.
@@michaelshackelford9624 I admit to being a dummy, that's why I watched the video, it was the hole card question "can you look at it"? common sense told me how would you know how to bet? BUT he didn't even mention the hole card after dealing. I had to come across the answer in the comments. Thanks for listening Michael, Linda
