Legendary solo!!! So simple, so easy, and yet so meaningful, melodic, a true journey. A music piece inside a music piece. One of the best solo's in Adrian's career, and one for the guitar history books. A masterclass in pentatonic, as well.

Absolutely amazing man, Iron Maiden have been my favorite metal band ever since I was 12 years old in 83, the first album I heard was piece of mind and I was immediately blown away and their style of music touched my life ever since then, I've been trying to learn this song for so long and thank you so much for spending the time to create this, this song is just phenomenal!

Thankyou for this. I've been hitting this one hard for a week and I've nearly got it down. I just need to speed up and clean the repeating bendy blues lick at 3:26. Useful lick because Adrian uses it quite often in his solos.

Thanks. I have no idea, but if you can do the math, it's 2 beats later and the tempo is 110 bpm (I guess it should be about 1090 ms)

Such a great video - don’t know how many times I’ve watched this. Hey what’s the picking patten for the fast repeating bend lick near the end. I can only get it to the correct tempo playing down, up, up but I’m not sure it’s right. Cheers

as a teacher myself . I would like to say AMAZING JOB MY SON. I grew up with Steve ...YES the bass player and in all honesty he would say the same thing. If you arent teaching you arent doing anything. Great job young man.

Viendo el vídeo es imposible para alguien que empieza a hacer solos, incluso poniendo youtube a baja velocidad en la parte lenta, puedes verlo 300.000 veces, no logro ver lo que haces, incluso con el tabulado, con él puedes saber las notas que utiliza pero no llego a ver cómo están encajadas en la dinámica, se necesita a alguien insitu que lo enseñe paso a paso, en el vídeo no hay manera posible

I have many more recent videos where you can see a blue mark on the notes played, but not for this solo unforunately.... Maybe it's more helpful... Also, I have made 2 videos with a new format, but only for Hallowed Be Thy Name for the moment (more will be posted). And maybe it's even more helpful for beginners.
