I haven't played in years, I recently got back into it, only a small number of people where nice sadly a majority is toxic asf, I played last when there where almost no side objectives so it's hard to adapt to new things, thank you for explaining this role so well! Atleast now I'll have a little extra knowledge so I'm not shunned so hard in the future.
Your videos remind me of DukeSloth's or DM Brandon's back in the day as they are very in depth technically min/maxing etc. Love it would love to see more videos that really pull actual DPS stats on builds etc as well.
As terrible as DM was, I did learn a few things from him that has helped me a lot. Dragging buffs as close to the lane as you can to save time, counting enemy relic timers, and knowledge of the solo lane. If only he was actually as good as he said he was
I took a break for a couple years. I have come back to a pretty complex conquest map. I had learned about dragging the buffs, but I would still get to lane 10+ seconds behind the enemy team. This whole time IT WAS THE BIG GREEN JUNGLE MONSTER HEALING A THREE STACK OF CAMPS? That’s also why I run out of pots lol
I may be 5 months late but I would love to see a duo video with you and Zapman talking more about the roll and why you, or himself does what he does in lane or team fights.
One thing i hate about carry is that the builds for the role are so limited. No fault on your part for showing a singular build, but still. I myself try mixing and matching different ideas with different adcs to get a decent enough effect, but overall im not really sure
The builds that become meta are builds tested by theory crafters and are created to do the most damage to either frontline backline gods or objectives. Like if there a ton of tanks u do the tank shred build if u wanna win 1v1 or 1vX crit works if u wanna do objectives only then either build works tbh.
Yes and support need to peel adc more than anything else if adc dies it will cost the hole team to burn objectives. You can allways chase some one if your team is arround you. But never chase someone alone without your team because that will make you out of position and you can die for free
