backwards passes are great! forward is better obviously but by receiving the ball, waiting for pressure to arrive and then playing the ball back means that the players pressing you are leaving space somewhere else that can be exploited
thats what i was thinking, looking at a player like iniesta you see when he play the ball behind he instantly maeks room for the next pass to be offensive
I play Striker and I've watched all of these tip videos, even the defender ones! Incredible work, I really learnt a lot about perspective from all the positions. Easily earned my subscription! 😎
Should probably also mention the fact that backwards/recycling play isn't a thing bad by definition. Especially during high pressure, congested situations when it could just be best to play a backwards pass to relieve pressure and let the team regroup. At the end of the day as a cm you're also supposed to be a 'resting point' where you manage the tempo and keep possession. Not saying you should always play backwards, but do think it's significant to stress the importance of recognizing when to play forward and carry the ball and when not to play forward and to keep possession!
Thanks mitso, i was looking for a midfielder analysis vid as it really helps in game, and your vid came just on time.😊. I would be very grateful to you if you would make a vid on full game analysis of a midfield player. Thanks
Me watching this video 😂😂 And knowing fully well that as CM/AM you need to. 1) know how to receive the ball well 2) when on the ball, always keep your head up and find players running forward so you can play those killer passes. (Playmakers)
I did one a couple of years ago! Here you go: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z5iIW31XIsQ.html I also did a two part analysis on Mohamed Salah that explain all the winger roles: Part 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8x0krDi-Eis.html Part 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gzpH5E_3wpM.html
