This is the coolest idea, perfect for me just getting back into totk! The healing sword captures paladin energy so well lol I hope this goes for the rest of the 5e classes, can't wait to see ranger and warlock :)
I might actually do something like this because totk is getting really stale. Though it would be great if you made a Google doc to put all the info on so that people can keep track of it easier.
Here's ideas for Ninja and Dark Ninja class sets. *Class:* Ninja Rouge - Sheikah Armor set (Upgraded: ★★) *Short Singled-Handed Weapons Only:* - Eightfold Blade - Royal Guard Sword - Royal Broad Sword - Gerudo Scimitar - Forest Dweller Sword *Single-shot Bows Only:* - Royal Guards Bow - Dusk Bow - Phrenic Bow *Shields:* - Shield of the Mind's Eye *Item Utilities:* - Puffshrooms - Dazzle Fruits - Earthwake Technique - 14 hearts - 1 & ½ Stamina Wheels *Class:* Dark Ninja Rouge - Yiga Armor set (Upgraded: ★★) *Single-handed Weapons Only:* - Eightfold Blade - Gloom Sword (w/ fused Light Dragon Horn) - Any Single-Handed Stal Enemy Arms *Bows:* - Duplex Bow - Demon King's Bow - Phrenic Bow - No Shields *Item Utilities:* - Muddle Buds - Puffshrooms - Earthwake Technique - 16 Hearts - 1 ¾ Stamina Wheels Having Gloom Sword fused with Light Dragon's Horn is pretty interesting combo, because you will not only have a moderately strong weapon like Gloom Sword that deals Miasma Damage when striking an enemy, but it also heals for each hit you deal damage on so it kind of balances itself out. Also Having both Ninja class sets using Earthwake Technique I thought would be pretty interesting take, since they're essentially polar opposites, and the Dazzle Fruits vs Muddle Buds, and disappear in a big cloud puff with the Puffshrooms. Giving Dark Ninja class 13 hearts seems like a good balance since you'd also get to use the Demon's Bow which has damage count based on the number of hearts you have, so you have a strong bow out the gate from 6-60 damage if you have 3 or 30 hearts since it applies 2x the number of hearts, it puts it on par with the strength of a 5x Savage Lynel Bow, Great Eagle Bow and Royal Guards Bow.
I enjoyed watching this Paladin class approach to Tears of the Kingdom. Thank you for this idea. The Paladin is my favorite class in any D&D type of game.
These are cool ideas! Though I'm not sure why the paladin would have low level heat resistance specifically. Is it just the aesthetics of the sapphire circlet?
I have an idea for a build, you guys can rate it 1-10: Archer Rouge: use any full set of lvl 3 stealth up armour, but you can only use the duplex bow, a sheild and yiga magic, nothing else, no sword, no spears. It focuses on dexterity so it has full stamina, but is limited to only 12 hearts (might need nerf after play-test) and can also use the muddlebud and puffshroom. The goal of this class is to go for bullet time shots, and escape with what tools you have!
Monk: high stamina and health, the starter clothes or something else low level, maybe only “improvised weapons” like the mop or misc stick, maybe secret earthquake technique because it’s the closest we have to unarmed lol
Fei: A Lightning Master, Wears lvl 2 Miner’s Mask (Dyed White), lvl 2 Desert Voe Spadular (Dyed Crimson) and lvl 3 Royal Guards Boots (Makes for 31 Defense) Uses Only Royal Weapons as it fits their Play style of having Lightning Speed and Topaz Rod as it fits their nature. Uses Thunder Magic (Electrical Materials) and the Previously mentioned Topaz Rod. Be warned, Fei is not immune to their Own Magic and since they are a bad cook, they can’t use any buffs. They can only eat food for health. Fei also is a really bad archer.
Ranger: Weapons - bows and one handed weapons (no shields, one handed weapons must be few and probably bladed eg soldiers broadsword would be a really good weapon for ranger, a sword is your secondary, not something you use solely) Outfit - idk smth with hylian hood (tunic of memories because it has the arm thing specifically designed for using bows) and trousers just use whatever probs hylian or smth just use normal trousers BOOM there’s ranger
This is pretty neat. I wonder if a sorcerer/wizard build would be viable with all of the different elemental rods and powers from your hand abilities. I thought that maybe for higher health enemies you could role play conjure bomb barrels out of thin air using auto build as well as the different sages being summons you have access to.
