as a player that has over 200 hours of gameplay as knuckles, tho most of these are great tips, heres some extra tips, BLOCK: If sonic seems to be aggressive and not TOO experienced at getting blocked, try running in a straight line and once sonic is close enough to hit you, block. If you dont have much distance between you and exe, you can to block and go into him and jump away once the block ends.

Here some extras tips (I main Knuckles so yeah these mistakes always happend) 1. Try to know how is Sonic. Exe style, this is because some will try to evade your abilities doing something like Lunging backwards. (This can also be for every Stunner character but is more important with Knuckles and Amy) 2. This is relationally with the first one, and is what try to not being very nervous when you use Knuckles, Knuckles is (In my opinion) one of the more harder characters to use for their abilities what needs timing and patient for made them work, If you put nervous you can do a bad Punch or a bad Block, with Block is even worst because you can get punished sufering a Grab. I hope some of these tkps can help

Anyone else try to go near sonic just to hear the music of is it just me

tip: never stand still to use anything as knuckles pros will instantly trick you instead. and using block if you think your about to get hit same with punch but use it before exe comes to your personal space.

Here is another great tip: When you hit a block rush straight to sonic and punch him. The stun timer on the block will end right when the punch lands. This will let you get more time before Sonic gets up and you can create more distance.

There are moments where you can actually prevent from getting grabbed as knuckles, to be fair this did happen to me once but maybe it could be consistent but it's very unlikely it would happen again, if sonic grabs knuckles as he is blocking, knuckles will get grabbed but if sonic pummels knuckles, the animation will still play for knuckles, and he can actually get out of sonic's grab (Again, it's very unlikely something like this would happen, you could probably do it intentionally, but the timing is not easy, to put it simply: sonic must grab you while you are blocking and must pummel you fast enough for him to drop you while knuckles it blocking).

i've never played td and i'm watching this to finally start playing as knux since he's a tough character to get the hang of but, from what i can tell the main thing is practice, you presumably just need to practice enough until you get the hang of using him, if i'm correct

One time I was playing as knuckles and cream was being chased and sonic.exe almost hit them, so I stepped in and used parry, and guess what, IT STUNNED HIM. Then I gave cream an opportunity to run.
