I’m the Rules Girl and this is Azul, a pattern-building tile-laying game for 2-4 players from Next Move Games!
In Azul, players take tiles from factory displays and slowly fill their walls to score points!
You win by having the most points at the end of the game, earned by placing tiles onto their walls, placing tiles adjacent to other tiles, and fulfilling end game scoring bonuses.

I dont like rule videos that are too short because they tend to rush the explanation.. But i must say, this really changed my mind! Great explanation here!

How do you get more than one full horizontal line (2 points) when doing so ends the game?

The directions read "at least one player has completed AT LEAST one horizontal line..." I read that as meaning completed one or more lines.

If I have understood right then the first person to use the tiles from centre discard area has to put the player one white marker on his negative row and gets a deduction of one mark during scoring ...Right??

its the same, only you can play the tiles on which position you want. you just have to remember only one kind of tile per each row of the field.

In this game, if you have the first pattern row filled by 1 blue, can you fill another row with more blue tiles?

if you think row1 blue then row2 blue at the same "round", yes its ok ,thats atleast how I understand the rules

Yes you can, but not from the same tiles taken at once. So if you taken let's say three blue tiles from one pile, you can only use them for one row. If you would use them for row 1,you would have to place the other two tiles in the floor line (the negative points). But if you already have row 1 filed, and then take another blue piles you can start filling another row.

Yes. But only from a separate “tile grab”. That was the rule that confused me the most too.

1. Can you take from the centre only once or does the centre have to be empty (along with all factory tiles) for the round to be done? 2. If you can take from the centre more than once, do you only take the tiles of the same colour each time or do you take all and the extra colours are negative points?

The centre has to be empty. So if you cannot place the tiles, you have to take them and take negative points anyway. You have to take all tiles of that colour that are in the centre every time you take from the centre.

Why? You can do whatever you want to figure out who starts first, the universe isn't going to attack you. I personally use Chwazi for about every game.

This is the worst explanation of this game on the internet. They're basically just reading the already confusing instructions out loud. Fantastic game though
