In general, you try to roll higher than the last player or bluff if you can't. If someone calls out your bluff and they're right, you get a strike; three strikes and you're out. The last player left wins. Use action cards to stay in longer, or change up what you rolled and avoid strikes!

I can just not bluff every time and just say the truth. So I can stay in the game and win. That’s the only thing where I’m confused how does the points add up, if they have a higher number do they take my points? Or do I lose my points. And they keep theirs?

@@Edlimitedit’s not about winning, it’s about not getting a strike. If you don’t beat the previous player you have to bluff because that is the game. I have some questions, some answers are in other commets but still I want to be sure if I'm playing it in the right way, because the game was so fun. 1) After Player1 rolls the dices and Player2 accept the score (not call bluff), we always have to watch the rolled dices, if Player1 is bluffing, Player1 bamboozled Player2 and Player1 gets an action card and then Player2 do not gets a strike but he have to try to beat/tie that bluffed score, if Player1 it's telling the truth then no one takes a strike or action card and Player2 takes his turn and try to beat/tie that score. It is right? 2) Is bamboozling someone(bluffing and next player accepting my bluff) the only way to get action cards? 3) If Player1 says 44, (but rolled dices are 41) then Player2 calls bluff, then Player1 plays a Double card turning 41 in 44. Do someone gets a strike or action card? What happen after that, Player2 have to beat/tie the 44? 4) If Player1 have jackpot and Player2 accept the score and doesn't have action cards, the only ways to not get a strike are rolling the dice and have jackpot or bluffing about having a jackpot and not being called bluffing, right?
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 3 года назад
@Andres, glad you are having fun with the game! I've answered your questions below: 1) Yes, you got it right! 2) Yes, bamboozling is the only way to get more cards. 3) You are right, the next player does not get a strike, but now will continue playing and must tie or beat 44. Nobody gets a strike. 4) Yes, you are right! If someone got jackpot and you don't have a card then you must either roll jackpot or bluff that you got it to the next player.

1. If you accept someone's number, do you check to see if you were right, or do you just go ahead and roll? 2. If the person was bluffing, they take a bamboozled card right away right? They don't have to be discreet about it? 3. If someone uses their only action card, do they sit without an action card until they bamboozle someone?
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames Год назад
Hey @Andrea, 1 - We always like to see if we got Bamboozled or not, so we will state whether we believe them or not, and then reveal what they actually rolled. 2 - So, if you reveal the answer after you state what you think, you will know if they got should get a card and not. Also, no they don't need to be discreet, everyone will see them draw it. 3 - Yes, if you use all of your action cards, you still play the game just like normal, but everyone will know that you don't have any cards to help you. You do not need cards to win, so it may not be in your best interest to try and Bamboozle if the situation would allow you to win without Bamboozling, it's up to you how risky you want to be and how lucky you think your rolls will be!

My family is confused about the Up/Down card. Is one supposed to physically change the die in order to reflect their change? For example, if one had to roll 52 or higher to stay in the game, and they rolled 52, but used their up/down card to change to 53, do they need to change their 2 to a 3? Or do they announce 53, and if the next person believes them but reveals the 52, are they bamboozled? I tried my best to explain that scenario so hopefully you can answer
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 8 месяцев назад
You just announce the number you want to make with the card. You don’t need to physically change the dice to reflect it. If the next player calls a bluff you reveal the card and treat the dice as if you had changed it. If the next player doesn’t call them on it, then they don’t need to use the up/down card and can keep it, and yes that would count as a Bamboozle. Does that make sense?
@HunterBNobles
@HunterBNobles 8 месяцев назад
@@bluewasatchgames yes, that makes sense. So essentially, the person who uses the up/down card basically guarantees the next person gets a strike, barring any more wild cards?
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 8 месяцев назад
@@HunterBNobles No, not really. If you rolled 53 and for your turn wanted to make it 63 with your up/down card. If the next player called on the bluff, you show and discard your card and now the next player would just need to tie or beat 63 for their turn, so it would be treated just like you got 63. So they would still have a chance to roll higher or even use their own card if they wanted to.

@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 7 месяцев назад
@@willjoec No, they don’t get a strike because that’s how the After Cards work. You have to catch someone using one to get that card out of the game. By calling the bluff on them they discard the card, but the dice becomes what they made it by using their card. So the game continues with you taking a turn and having to tie or beat the score that was created by the card.

That's correct! However I will say that it may be beneficial in some cases to choose a lower number. Depending on your place at the table it may be beneficial to keep the score low at the beginning so that you don't get into a tight spot if the dice make it back to you in the same round.

If you call the bluff and a player is able to use an action card (like, a player calls Jackpot, but only had the action card for Jackpot), does the person calling the bluff get a Strike?
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 3 года назад
@michelle no, the next player will continue playing with the score created by the use of the card, so in the case of using a jackpot card, the next player can use another action card to change the score before rolling, or attempt to tie the jackpot by rolling and continuing the game as usual. They do not automatically get a strike.

I’m confused as to why the dice score matters. Can anyone help?
@bluewasatchgames
@bluewasatchgames 8 месяцев назад
Happy to help! The dice score matters because you have the tie or beat the player before you. If a player rolls 53 for their turn and you accept the score. Now you must roll 53 or higher (keeping your roll secret), so when you pass the dice and cup to the next player (still with the dice covered so they don't know what you got), you must say something higher than 53. If on your turn you only roll 43, now you must bluff and try to make the next player believe that you did roll 53 or higher, so you'd make up something like 65, or doubles, even though you didn't get something higher. If they believe you (before seeing what you actually rolled), now they take their turn and must beat the score you said, not what you rolled. If they call your bluff and you were bluffing then you get a strike and score goes back to 0. The gameplay loop is that the score will keep getting higher and higher, but the chance of actually rolling higher is getting lower. Does that help?

So if I roll 5-2, have a double card, can I call it 55, and only use my card if someone calls me on it, or do I have to play the card to let people know I am making a double with it? I guess I'm struggling to see calling a bluff on someone you know is using a double card. And jackpot should be 12 or 21. You're just confusing people by saying 12 is a possibility.
