Has anyone else been confused by the rules and the glossary? The rules state that the Haunt Roll is 6 dice. The glossary states that the haunt roll is however many OMEN cards are in play you shall use the same amount of dice.

Just got the game and first gaunt was #6 the alien one. Lots of fun learning and playing with friends

Thanks for the video. My friend and I sat down and tried the game today but we couldn't figure out how many dice to roll. Make sure that you either have two players play more than one character or have several people play. My objective as a survivor was impossible unless I either had the right items and or had had extremely high knowledge.

I got the haunt where a person gets the medallion or pendent or something in the furnace room so I became a mortal ghost who had drown because I had the highest speed. I then used the special elevator to teleport directedly to my sister and brother. I then stabbed by brother with a spear. he then said "no you" and I died of mental damage. also on the first turn I went directedly into a graveyard and the event I got gave the graveyard the blessed token. Then my sister fell into a hole and got stuck in the basement until she was forced up to the foyer because of the haunt. overall epic game. also I think that not all scenarios have a traitor.

Our DM to be is bringing this game over to play with our soon to be DnD group as a test run game, but I'm worried none of the boys will have the patience for this game aside from the DM himself after seeing this LOL

Every single time I play this with friends the haunt somehow ends up happening in the furnace room, I have no clue why; I've played this game 5 times and every time it's been in the furnace room (with an exception to one time in which the haunt roll failed in the furnace room, only for us to realize that they drew a card to get there, therefore they simply should have ended their turn, thank goodness).

My first time playing we got the twins scenario which was weird and I got NO cards at all drawn the entire time. And I ended up being one of the twins and then everyone attacked me and it was a horrible experience 😂 really gave this a bad experience for me but I want to try again with hopefully a better haunt that is more fun. And maybe some better luck in the exploring phase

Just won a game of this. Went on for 4 hours because the traitor was revealed very early, and I as a traitor needed a certain item from one of the players. Very enticing, but easily more than 1 hour playtime!

Is there any information each side has to tell the other? Such as how to stun the monsters or what weapons you can use to fight the traitor or how to even fight the traitor? It can get confusing when you cant do a certain action and you dont understand why you cant.

I have a question... so you said monsters can only be stunned. In ending 12, we had to kill the monsters to win. I'm just kind of confused now.

I love this game and think this entire theme of a haunt could be a good framework for a Cabin in The Woods sequel.

I just purchased this game at a thrift store for a dollar.. it's missing one omen card, one large circular monster token, one pentagonal item token, and nine plastic clips.. is this game still playable, will it affect game play, or is it usless now.. thank you.

We played this tonight for four god damn hours, before a Haunt commenced. In 10 mins we were all annihilated, by our traitor of the group. We died at the hands of the two headed snake. Where we needed the skull to perform the ritual to defeat the snake. But all the monster tentacles devoured the house and we all died. Let’s just say I’m glad I was tipsy for this shit. 😂🤣

how many character card included??

Hey, I'm just wondering if on tiles where it says "when exiting do a might roll" exiting means passing through during a turn or if it means if you land on a tile do the roll at the beginning of your next turn. Hope that makes sense

How do you know how many dice to roll? Like say a room says roll a 3+ to move, does that mean roll three dice?

when do the monster spawn? Is there a specific room or can the traitor choose to spawn them at his position?

Can you attack and run on the same turn? For example, after the haunt begins if I'm in the same room with the traitor can I attack them and then run away afterwards?

When you need to kill monsters with the bug spray. What happens if you attack any stunned monsters? Is that a free kill or is the stunned monster still allowed to roll dice?
