I love that riff, hammer on and pull off.....This is what makes the song when going back to the D-Maj, using the pinky on the 1st string 3rd fret, the flow is fantastic!
That Seagull is an amazing acoustic . They are soooooo well built. Excellent heel to body construction ALWAYS ! The tapered headstock keeps the strings in tune soooo well . Love the warm sound of your Cedar top . ...... and great lesson btw .
@@allaboutguitaracademy I was surfing YT last night . A luthier who used to work for the company that was the UK distributor for all Godin guitars is now on his own doing his own luthier work. He made a vid about something that is essentially public knowledge , but unless you have watched the video of Robèrt Godìn giving a factory tour , you wouldn't know a few of the "newer" aspects . By newer I mean that loosely because Godìn has been around a fair bit of years. However , having said that , I rediscovered that Godìn acoustic guitars built before '06 are better due to the way they are constructed...... those pre ' 06 year builds are easier to do a reset on if you ever needed one . Simply because for a number of years they have been using epoxy in the neck joint from '06 forward . I am not sure if they have been still doing this style of neck setting in the 2017 and up models ...I say that because there were quite a lot of changes made from 2017 and forward . I see that you have an older blue label model Seagull S6 . I have an older Simon and Patrick S and P 6 from 2004 and I am insanely loving this guitar . Mine is the same Cedar top and Wild Cherry back and sides as your Seagull S6 . I just bought the Simon and Patrick in November and I struggle to pick up my 2011 Martin , or my nice and boomy Yamaha 800 series acoustic . Anyway .... don't sell you S6 ....it's a keeper !
@@BobsYoureuncle Thanks for the great information on Godin Guitars and the Seagull. I'm definitely hanging on to my S6, I love the three different woods it is made of, especially the cedar top and it is marked as a "demo" so it's special! Thanks and enjoy yours, as well. Appreciate your support, my friend.
@@allaboutguitaracademy Indeed ! And the other is in hopes that a young woman I once talked with will see it ! As she once said she liked this song ! ✌️
@@allaboutguitaracademyI love the video and would greatly appreciate a video on the right hand picking pattern. I am new to finger picking and have been doing travis picking.
