Mannnnnn Seth, that just made my day - really man... thanks so much for the continued support and investments... It means more than you know!!! Much love and many many blessings!!!
Cheers for the video content! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one off product for learning piano fast without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.
Missed you guys... our production team needed to revamp our recording process and equipment... To create videos at this level of excellence requires a lot of preparation, so thanks for the warm welcome back! ❤️🙏🏽
Hi there and thanks sooooo much for thinking about me - we try to steer clear of breaking songs down since RU-vid considers it infringement of the original artists... They are really clamping down on covering songs...
@@prettysimplemusic Wow...I didn't know that! What a shame!...smh.. Well I just bought $75 worth of downloads from your website. With much prayer and practice; I will get to where I need to be. Thanks for everything Bro. Kc!
@@prettysimplemusic maybe you've been adding the notation in all your recent vids. I remember watching your vids like a year or two ago when they weren't included. But if adding the visual notation has been a trend then I will indeed be binging through your channel this weekend
bwhahahhahahaha!!! Well, you knowwwww... maybe not corny - but... compared to the other juiciness in this video, it was a tad lackluster...lol Much love!!! ❤️
The first time I watch the dirty chords video I was like this guy is it!! Wow I love watching your music tutorials and it has help me play as a professional keyboard player better.
Sherro!!! Thanks so much for the love and support, even as an already well accomplished musician! That truly means a lot to me!! Much love Sherro!!!! 🙏🏽🔥☀️❤️
this is great !!! 🔥 i’m really a self taught piano player and it’s been a journey trying to expand my voicings. But this video is really informative and comprehensive ❤️❤️✨🙏🏾🤲🏽
You're An Awesome Teacher!!!! One Way To Describe A Tritone Is To Start With Any Of The 12 Notes In The Register, And Either Add A Note 3 Whole Steps Up, Or Three Steps Down. I'm Not An Expert In Music, But That's Why They Refer To It As A Tritone. I Hope That Helps. Keep Doing What You Do. I've Gleaned Alot From Your Amazing Teaching Skills!!!! Thank You Brother!!!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼❤️❤️❤️
There’s so much for me to learn musically, but enjoying this moment together with friends like you... thanks so much for the kind words my friend! Much love! 🙏🏽❤️
Thanks so much Rojai! Always remember no genre is a “pure” genre... there are many levels and degrees of Calypso... just as in RnB, Blues and Gospel... Much love and thanks so much for the encouragement! ☀️❤️
It’s musicians like you that make learning music feel infinitely fun.. there’s a lot of musicians that don’t like helping others .. god bless you brutha 🙏🏾
Wow mannnnn - that def made my day - Yessir... sharing is caring... I really love you guys and even though it's a business, I enjoy giving from my heart!!! Much love, KC :)
I've been a gigging musician for over 20 years, and I grew up on classical music so most of my playing has been really... "straightforward" so to speak. Lots of progressive metal and such, but I never got into the Jazz/Gospel side of big-n-thick® chords. I'm just beginning to now, and your explanations and intuitions go a long way to helping me explain how you hear things. I really appreciate your channel and the information you provide. (And your video editing is top notch as well - amazing work!)
DAAAAAAVE!!!! Man, this means so much coming from someone of your experience!!! It’s very difficult to explain certain concepts the contradict traditional instruction. Much love and many blessings!!! ❤️☀️
Love the way you break things down. I’ve learned soooo much from your videos. Even if I still have trouble executing I enjoy going over your material during my personal practice time because it challenges me.
Greetings and blessings to you Sir KC! I really do absolutely love your playing and approach to your Music and the way you impart info is truly a joy to hear and behold. I am a Musician/Music Teacher/Composer/Producer and so I really mean this and do enjoy and fully appreciate what you are doing Sir. Learning is important to me and I've always told my Students that no single Musician ever has the Monopoly on Lady Music! We all have our own individual expressions and as such we ought to appreciate what everyone has to say even if we don't necessarily agree, we should agree to disagree also hahaha. Much love and blessings to you, your Family, Team & Loved Ones always as YHVH continue to prosper you blessing you and your Ministry copiously and perpetually Amen!
Excellent. Anyone knows the exact sinthesizer model that is using here? Thanks! Excelente. ¿Alguien conoce el modelo exacto de sintetizador que está utilizando en este video? ¡Gracias!
Diggin this lesson, lovely chords that you are playing will definitely look at this later! That piano sounds extra crispy! Is that coming from your Montage or Keyscape?
@@prettysimplemusic nooo thank you for sharing your knowledge !!! Watching your videos have definitely helped me with my growth on piano and voicings ❤️☺️✨🙏🏾
Does this channel have stuff for beginners? I understand formulas, chord progressions etc. But was kinda looking for a guide on improvisation and exercises.
Greetings from Panama, thanks so much for your lessons, I have some of your series, and this one is a great addition to the group. Keep up the great work. Blessings!!

Hi KC my name is Terence Junior Terence and I have been watching your videos for a while now and I am still stuck with the key of Db. How can I improve from one key to all keys?
A minor chord always has a minor third. Usually it also has a b7 too, but not always. If you research modes, you will find that a minor chord fits over the dorian mode, the aeolian mode and the phrygian mode. These are the common places that minor chords are used in traditional type songs. Each of these modes have different notes in between the chord tones. Also there are two other minor scales the melodic minor and the harmonic minor both of these have a major seventh tone instead of a flat 7th. If all this goes over your head, do some study of jazz modes. Map them out with pen and paper and really digest them. Your will find that if you arrange these modes in fifths there is a pattern that emerges C G D A E B F# . Take it slow and try to understand.
How do you teach beginners and advanced musicians at the EXACT same time??? You don’t... you find a balance and teach intermediate musicians, then you provide extra slow motion footage and MIDI files so that no one is left behind. Much love ❤️
